This audio prep covers everything on the exam and references The Exercise Professional’s Guide to Personal Training by the American Council on Exercise presented in an easy -to-understand, chapter-by-chapter format.
Note: The previous American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer Manual - Fifth Edition is still a valid tool to use for the exam. The new guide has the updated preparticipation screening, blood pressure categories, and introduces the new ACE Mover Method and ABC Approach. However, both textbooks and this audio prep cover the same topics that you will be tested on. The exam content outline has not changed.

I PASSED FIRST TIME GO
this was great while driving, and focuses on the important parts to study, eliminating lots of confusion with what to focus on. full of helpful tips to memorize certain things that I actually used on the test. I do give credit to this book for my first time passing score.

So good I listened twice!
Super helpful, highlighting the main points clearly and effectively. I also really enjoyed the “extra” commentary, quotations, book recommendations and personal notes. Great for helping me absorb the information!

Highly recommend, Passed my test!
Listening helped me retain info from the ACE textbook. Great review of each chapter. Stays on topic for what you are tested on but also provides some practical advice for training clients.

I feel a lot more confident
I have my test coming up this weekend and fee a lot better knowing I have CPT prep as a resource.

Highly Recommend
Great narration and information. The author/narrator has a very pleasant, calm, and professional voice. Very easy to follow. The information is condensed for each chapter and highlights the main ideas. I had a hard time listening to the manual audiobook provided by ACE because of the peppy female narrator. But this is so much better. He also mentions apps that are helpful to use as a CPT.
