Wonderful imagination. Love it!

This is an absolute must read. The storyline is captivating and well written and the narrator is also remarkable. You will love it. It's fascinating how imaginative the author is. Makes you completely feel like you DID step back in time.

ANOTHER GREAT STANDALONE STORY, FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE OLD WEST. ADD IN SOME SUSPENSE AND ROMANCE! BRYNN AUSTIN DID A FANTASTIC JOB WITH THE NARRATION OF THE STORY.

great romance book in a clean way

This book was easy to listen to. it was an interesting story and it was worth the purchase, I look forward to reading the next one in the series. I thought it was a good and romantic book with relatable characters. It wasn't a "steamy" romance, but it was a true romance as the characters develop through their trials, their romance and relationship grows, which I appreciated because that is true of a real relationship.
I feel like there are take aways in this book, that could be applied in real relationships too.

The pace was really good, not a lot of slow parts at all. The characters and plot were very well done.

Time Travel is the Best!

This is a cute story, not much drama. Which can be very refreshing. With a great message. Just as the two main characters realized that their thoughts & actions centered only on how the other could change to fit with them. Growth is extremely important before gaining wisdom. Seth & Collette learn how the other half lived. With a different POV of gratitude they both came to the only place gratitude brings you….Happiness.

Loved the story AND the audio!

Narration Review:

It is SO important to have the right narrator for an audiobook, and Stephenia H McGee has a gold star in Brynn Austin. I don't tend to "follow" many narrators, but knowing that Austin was going to be doing this series after enjoying her performance in others by this author, I was quite excited to say the least. She does a wonderful job of matching her voice to the energy and mood of the stories, and is able to craft different voices for the characters so they are easier to distinguish as she reads. 

Story Review:

Oh my goodness, LOVE!. Although time travel reads aren't my typical genre of choice, once I see Stephenia H McGee's name on the cover, I instantly know I must get my hands on it. There is something about her writing that sets her apart from other authors who write in this particular genre. If you take a look at her other reads, she tends to write more historical fiction, but even those that touch contemporary timelines have a tangible, deep-rooted appreciation and respect of history. In order for a story like this to be strong enough for me to enjoy it, the setting has to be as strong as the characters themselves, and McGee does an impeccable job of this. She doesn't just throw the characters back in time, but immerses them in the world of the time, they appear. Her wealth of research is evident, and often revealed in humorous if not unfortunate events. I adored this story, and yes, there were several moments of audible laughter throughout. HIGHLY recommend!

Time travel is so cool. Stephenia is a wonderful author! If you love time travel books this is a must read!

I really hate bailing on a book...

I love time travel stories and mysteries, so I was so excited to see the plot for this book and that it is a series! but, the characters were just more than I could handle. the couple are both stubborn and whiny and childish and I'm sure they end up redeeming themselves, but I couldn't wait long enough for them to get there. The narration was not helping.
I really hate doing negative reviews.. I'm really sorry for this. I wish you all the very best!
