Sisterhood

Lovely book focused on sisterhood and discovering how important the bonds between women are. I love a mix of history and fiction and this book was a perfect blend.

Unique and magical WW2 story

A creative story, great characters and enough emotional tenderness to make me tear up. I throughly enjoyed it

Riveting!

Loved the story. Had unexpected twists. Narration is excellent and I had a hard time not listening straight through. Would love more of Henry’s story.

Witches and Magic in WW2

A little predictable at points but a well written enjoyable adventure with a variety of diverse lovable characters. even when the book diverges from Lydia, the main character, the plot is moving and the characters keep you invested.

The narrator Grace Gray was phenomenal performing different inflections and showing her range of talent with accents. I would recommend anything she reads.

Outstanding….

Very engaging, love history, magic, which’s, ghosts. Felt like a new idea to explore. And who doesn’t want to defeat the Nazis, with good witches no less…fun book.

I LOVED every word. Great characters. Amazing setting. Hateable villains. Didn't drag one bit. Definitely in my top five reads this year. Looking forward to reading more from Ms Ryan!
