Beautiful ❤️ Story!

Aiden a truly lovable Highlander and Scarlet an amazing heroin. Combined with the unique and creative story, about overcoming fear makes this story so enjoyable to read.

Adventurous Romance

In this second book of the series, the main heroine is committed to staying in the far north, but when she comes across a rugged Highlander, who has been injured and is very weary of English ladies, she is intrigued. The story stands out because it could it stands as its own Novel, and the previous novel is mentioned, but not necessarily needed to be read to understand. Scarlet leads the school for ladies that she and her sister started and encourages them to be bold and brave. There is an exciting into the story. I’m not going to give it away, but it is worth reading.

This book is the best of the books I’ve listened to in a while. I have listened to many of heather McCollums books but this one hits home, it has a great, full story with lots of twists and turns. Definitely worth the credit!!

Another amazing story

The story was fast paced, narrator was once again perfect. If you enjoy highland themes you will not be disappointed.

Loved getting to know Aiden

Wow do I love this series! This one is just as good as book 1. We get to see and know more about Aiden. He was so crotchety in the last story. Its fun to see such a turn around from him. Scarlett we knew or guessed what her issue was back in England. Well…not in its entirety. It is actually so much more involved than I thought.
We also get to see kore of “the roses” from the school. They are changing and blossoming as well. We have the added Snowball and then there is The Robert who add some fun.

Overall I cant get enough of these characters. I did listen to this on audio and Justine Eyre did a great job! I love listening to her different voicings and her Scottish brogue.

Perfect Read!

Scarlett has some of the best secrets of an h. I worried greatly on how Heather would get things to work out. Let's just say, with a king interested in her, I worried she wouldn't find a way into Aiden's life. She's a strong character, only made stronger by everything that's happened in her life. What she lived through... absolutely horrible, and I'm happy for the happily ever after.

Aiden is hard to resist. He's got the tough no-one-can-break-through exterior that only Scarlett knows how to hammer away at. Love, an obsessed ex-lover, secrets, and a lustful king - this book has it all. Just make sure you have enough time to finish. Once you start, you can't put it down.

GREAT!

This was the #2 out of 2 in this series. And Imo, better than the first audiobook. Romance, intriguing ending. I was pleasantly surprised by several outcomes. I think this is a must read for all of u that love historical romance and Highlanders. Justine Eyre's performance was awesome too. Enjoy!😄

Roses are for…..What?????

Another enticing example of hate turning to love. Prejudice exists through out time, just as war and death. Times change and we have to learn to change with the times. We cannot exist in this world without opening our hearts and minds to new ways of thought, and new possibilities of unity among all.
