Freaking wild!!!

This series is such a wild ride!! I love how fierce Viola is but it’s so freaking sad and frustrating that she has been made to be disassociated. Seriously that ending!! I don’t believe it, thank goodness I don’t have to wait for the next book but sad that it’s the last. Hannah and Lucas are freaking rockstars with this narration. Hannah gives such a commanding performance as Viola bringing in that empty side but also that dry humor. Lucas is a master at voice manipulation and even without name tags you know who is talking.

what a cliffy

Well well Viola has done it now. Things take a dramatic, chaotic and real twisted turn. So many different go unplanned. However, things shift between her and the guys especially her and Dante. There is all kinds things revealed and things that cant be undone. She once again doesn't listen and ends up doing something that has dire results but things may not be as they seem either guess we'll find out.

Again the narrating is good but I have to ignore the overuse of her using "says" he says or she says. It may just be me but it is one reason I cant give 5 stars for the narrating.

Great

This is the third installment of the story. Not a standalone. More characters added. Must pay attention there is a lot going on and you don't know who you can trust. More people are added to V's hit list. It seems that someone keeps interfering. I listened to the audio book and I must say this is an interesting and fascinating story. The narrators did a good job. It seems like V is unraveling as things don't go as planned. This does end in on heck of a cliffhanger and I can't wait to start the next installment.

Another fast paced ride with Viola and her men!

This series has me in a chokehold. Book 3 picks up exactly where book 2 stopped and the whole book was pure chaos.

Every time I thought I had figured out what Viola and her boys are up to I was completely shocked by what happened. Add in the wildcard that is Dante and I feel like my mind is always left spinning trying to figure out wtf just happened.

These books constantly had me guessing, and second guessing. I was always trying to figure out who could be trusted only to find out they betray you. All the bad guys are connected, double crossing, and make the grave mistake of underestimating Viola. It’s a very tangled web of lies, deception, and greed.

This book added in some new characters and I’m interested to see how they fit into the overall story. I’m ready for the final book so I can figure out wtf is going on.

Hannah Hedley and Lucas Webley do a great job of capturing the various personalities of the characters they are bringing to life.

Favorite in the series so far

Wow! This picks up right where the previous book left off. I loved how we get to know Dante better in this book and get to know Viola and her relationship with her father.

This was my favorite of the series!!!

And that ending!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I cannot wait for the next one

This book was more emotional to me but also dark AF. It felt like she was finally understanding her feelings with the boys. Also, Dante….pain in my butt Dante is both good and bad for her. This book is dark and these narrators bring so much of that emotional darkness to the story. They tether me to the story and keep me wanting more. Also…these cliff hangers are brutal in the best way.

I want to start off and say make sure to check trigger warnings before you give this book a listen.
The narrators for this book are absolutely wonderful, they really bring the story to life. The storyline is so good and keeps you engaged, however it is dark…there is some dark subjects so make sure to check trigger warnings. I don’t want to say too much and give anything away.
I liked how the story progressed in this book. I can’t wait for the next book.
This book starts off where the previous book ended. Also this book leaves off on a cliffhanger.

That cliffhanger!

I’ve never seen so many twist and turns in a series like this one. This book triggered me more than the other two. So check the trigger warnings before listening. Part of me feels like it is being dragged on, but that’s honestly the best part because it is keeping me on my toes. I need the next book because this cliffhanger is going to kill me.

Dark, twisted and suspenseful. Kept me interested in what was coming next. The narration is stellar with this entire series. I enjoyed the book. It is well written and preformed.

If you’re a lover of dark romance with some enemies to lovers/bully vibes then this one is for you.

Hooks you in from start to finish

As this story progresses, I'm constantly wondering who the real heroes are in this story, and I'm not mad about it. Is Dante really a villain? After this book, I'm not sure. I feel like he rides the edge of villain and hero a lot, and perhaps that's because he doesn't really know himself? Or maybe he is playing a deeper, longer game that we don't see yet, but either way, I'm enjoying the ride. His attraction with Viola finally comes to a head and I'm 100% here for it. His whole "Let me show you how a MAN gets the job done not these boys you've been playing around with" attitude is a whole vibe, and I LOVED it.

Viola, living in her father's house again, has strict rules that she's well acquainted with. She falls back into old routines while keeping a sharp eye on her surroundings. She may be "home" but she knows she's not safe, and she's constantly on guard. Kristian is absolutely awful. Cannot stand him, and I knew he was going to do what he ended up doing (no spoilers) because men like that are just hopelessly predictable in the most absolutely horrific ways. Adrian is vying for the "worst father of the century" award and is definitely a front runner. Another vile man in V's world. It's no wonder she is the way that she is when this is a glimpse into the environment she grew up in.

From start to finish this book hooks you in. I simultaneously can't wait to read book 4 and am dreading it because as messed up as the world is, I still don't want the story to end. V is the ultimate badass FMC, and I can't wait to see how she gets her revenge.
