Great Book

I highly recommend this book for fans of Ghost Hunters and even those who aren’t familiar with the series.

Fascinating, fun tales from an expert

Few people in the field have the experience of Steve Gonsalves. He details his side of what we see on TV as well as his backstory, while sprinkling in some scientific knowledge, in this new book. It’s a good and interesting read, and Gonsalves’ almost melodic speaking voice makes the audio version the perfect road trip entertainment.

THE Ghost Hunter

Great book if you're a fan of Ghost Hunters or Steve in genral. Plenty of things I'd never known about such as his time with the Warrens or his tale to end the book. It was nice hearing about a semi local place and how at home he feels here (I live in WV). It's a nice look behind the curtain at someone who has been doing this for a very long time and is serious about what they do.

I’ve always been intrigued by the way Steve Gonsalves approaches paranormal events, and his book really hit home for me. I’ve had my own share of strange experiences, both with family and friends and on my own, that I just couldn’t explain. Some of them have been easier to brush off as typical house sounds, of course, but there are others that have genuinely made me question what’s real.

One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had was hearing my name called right behind me by a full-body apparition—during the day, no less! But the moment that still haunts me the most was when my phone was suddenly flung across the room and landed perfectly in an open drawer with clothes in it. It honestly felt like it was thrown there on purpose to get my attention while I was cleaning. Obviously, I can’t explain how my phone launched across the room. No, there wasn’t any glass of water or friction that could’ve caused it to slide. It sounds wild, I know, but it happened, and I know what I witnessed.

I’ve heard stories throughout my life about ashtrays sliding off tables or shelves, but to see my phone just shoot across the room with nothing I could see causing it? That left me seriously rattled.

If you’ve ever experienced something paranormal, I highly recommend this book. A lot of what Steve Gonsalves talks about really resonates with me, and I think it will with others who’ve had similar encounters.

Hearing the voice of Steve Gonsalves immediately takes me to an episode of Ghost Hunters. I would watch with my father whom has passed. Makes me think if he is still hanging around too?

As they say when reading a book. I couldn’t put it down. I’ve watched almost all of Ghost Hunters and hearing Steve Gonsalves tell his own personal thoughts and reactions to the places he has been was like getting a behind the seams look. The book was elegantly written with so much detail I could easily imagine the place he was describing. All in all it was a good fun read.
