It’s from Charlie's perspective and takes place between books 3 and 4 of the main series. This is a companion novel, NOT a standalone, although the love story is resolved in this book.

Sweet Little Christmas Interlude!

I always love it when side characters get a romance too! This is Charlie's story, and it is a sweet love story set in the middle of the main series. Ash has a troubled past and it was nice to watch these two learn to trust each other through banter together and with friends during the Holiday. Zachary Zaba was definitely a great narrator for these two sweethearts.

Oh my goodness I absolutely love this audio book. The characters are some of my most favorite ones ever. I really enjoyed the storyline a lot. I have love this series and this family. I highly recommend this book and the series.

Sweet and fluffy - by Shana W

In this book, we get treated to Christmas in the pride house with windows into several characters' romantic relationships, especially that of Ash and Charlie's.  The story is mostly from Charlie's POV, sandwiched by chapters from Ash's POV.  I enjoyed the audiobook version, narrated expertly by Zachary Zaba.
Because the story takes place during the holidays, it is a lighter, fluffier tale of life in the pride's household. In fact, this is Michele Notaro doing what she does best, world building with completely developed characters and minute details about their daily interactions and their relationships. It is a sugary sweet recounting of the first real Christmas celebration for the Magi living in the house, thanks to Charlie's enthusiastic planning.
I received an audiobook copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Excellent listen!

Char and Ash’s story is so cute! I love the two trips that Char made to the rescue. This series is so darn good and this one was no exception. Kudos.

Perfect holiday story

Book: I love that we get to take a break from all the witch drama to get to see Charlie and Ash get their HEA. I loved that this story does continue to move forward other side characters too. This was just an adorable story celebrating their various holidays in time for our holiday season. I thoroughly enjoy this series and all the characters in it.

Audio: starting to really love Zachary Zabbas voice for this series. It plays so nicely

I absolutely adore Charlie, he's one of my favorite characters from this series. It's clear how much Charlie cares about others, especially his pride members. Knowing as much as we do about the Magi compounds, and how Ash came to live at the pride house, I'm not surprised by Ash's struggle to trust. I love how patient Charlie was with Ash and seeing Ash grow to trust Charlie. Ash and Charlie really are adorable together! We also get to see the pride from a different perspective. This is a great holiday edition to the series.

I loved hearing it as much as I loved reading it. Charlie is one of my favorite characters I'm so happy he got his happily ever after and listening to it was better than reading it
