I feel in love with Rex!

I am such a dog lover, I really wanted to read this book. This book was awesome. It grabbed my heart from the 1st chapter on. I was kind of afraid this would be more driven towards children but it really wasn't. I am in my 40s and it definitely kept me interested the entire time

I loved how alot of it was written from the dogs POV. If you are a dog lover I highly recommend this book.

Narration was good. Nice and relaxing that just really helped the story move along.

Love this book !!! Very good read!!! I do r read books but I did this one!

Great book for dog lovers!

What a fun and touching book about, as you’d expect it, a black lab that we follow from the beginning of his life to the very end. Yes, it gets to the end but it’s an untold end with a flashforward in the future so no real dog death to go through.

That’s a recommended read/listen to me. The narrator again took me a little to get used to. I found him a bit flat at first but it fets better as you get into the story.

Such a good book. At the beginning I was like ok so this guy get a special lab... what’s going to happen. Has to be something special in order to the book to a hit thus far. And this is a wonderful book about the life of Rex the bob-tailed lab. Rex is such a sweetheart and an amazing protector. Working the veterinary field you know just what an animal can do and the vet in this book is so great for encouraging Rex’s owner to still let him complete in the jump-a-thon after his accident and having major surgery which left him with 3 legs. And I do appreciate Thomas Kendrick for putting the part where Rex starts to be aggressive towards a particular person that was the cause of his accident. I can tell you that even though owners may never find out what happened to their animals, the animal never forgets.
This book definitely pulled on my heartstrings.
I plan to read it to my kids. A very good family book. I highly recommend. Good book for animal lovers as well.
