Great Book!

Excellent narration and exciting storyline! I loved Cass and can’t wait for the next one in the series!

OMG this book is Hot!!

If you like hot as sin immortals and a foul mouthed sassy heroine this is the book for you!
So much sexual tension and newly awakened senses make this a page turner. I didn’t want to turn it off once I got I started and couldn’t wait until I could listen again. It just keeps getting better. Resaylor is the sweet and understanding to Lorcans stricter more respectable ways. Cass isn’t sure what is going to happen but she won’t go down without a fight and she has a hard time coming to terms with her men. Narrator did a great job with this book. I was iffy at first but she did not disappoint. Fully recommend to anyone who likes paranormal romance.

OMG

This is a great listen. The reader does well the voice is pleasing. The story flows up and down and back again. I love the mix of Olympic Gods with the paranormal!!!!!! Can not wait for the next one. #AudibleObsession

Wow!!

I binged listened to this book...!! Don't judge! I was hooked from the beginning and now headed to amazon to buy book 2 to read. I just can't wait for the audiobook. Even though the narrator was epic!!! I'm so happy I stumbled across this author she has a new #instafan!!

Spit Fire Heroine!

You will either love her or hate her. I happen to love her dirty mouth and take no prisoners attitude. I think she deserves to act like she does. I really like the mix of characters. The men are hot, the story flows with romance, sexy times and excellent narration by Victoria Mei.

great beginning

I really enjoyed the start of this series and look forward to the next books.

A heroine that you will either love or hate.......

I need to preface this review by emphasizing that not every reader will like this heroine. Cass is an extremely foul-mouthed, belligerent woman with little to no regard for other people. That said, when you take into account both her age and the abuse from her mother from an early age, I can see how she decided that the only way she could survive would be to push others away before they could reject her themselves. Many reviewers mention the inappropriateness of a 15 year-old starring in an erotic novel, but I have read enough paranormal romances to know that you really need to suspend all reality to enjoy these types of stories, erotic or not. I also don't mind the cliffhanger at the end because the author always publishes sequels pretty quickly, and it just ramps up the anticipation for the next book. Overall, if you enjoy intricate world-building and lots of action, and if you can accustom yourself to Cass's crash personality, I think this a good choice for fans of the paranormal romance genre.

Victoria Mei is an excellent narrator, and she performs up to her usual high standards with this book. Her delivery is flawless, and she actually makes Cass's abrasive personality less irritating for me. She handles the male roles equally as well as the female, and I can always tell which character is speaking. I cannot think of a better choice to narrator this exciting book.

I absolutely loved this book!!

It had me caged in from the first chapter!! Sexy, funny & magical. All of the characters are strong and intriguing but Cass is the strongest of them all. Powerful and cunning, she has her men wrapped around her finger and she doesn’t even know it. This book did not have an HEA but you can see where this story is going, and I can’t wait to get there!!
The narration was absolutely perfect! Victoria portrays Cass in such a way that feel like I’ve known her for years!! She does an excellent job on the male voices as well.
If you like paranormal romance and don’t mind no HEA, then I highly recommend this book!

Audiobook Obsession

Exciting story!

This was a fun story. Victoria Mei just didn’t read the story, she performed it. Life was injected into it with her pace, emotion and tension with her voice alone. I enjoyed it very much!

Victoria Mei is the perfect Cass!

I'm fairly new to the world of audio books, but I have heard a few samples where the narrator turned me off from the story. I'm so happy to say that I didn't have that issue with this one. The voice fit the character of Cass perfectly. The storytelling was amazing and I'm as impressed with Victoria's talent as I am of Meg's.
The character of Cass spoke to me on some deep level. Her pain, fear, distrust, anger, hate, and desire for vengeance mixed with her need to be loved, her desire to trust, her joy at the simple things, and fear that vengeance wouldn't come were so realistic and honest. I was there with her through all of it. I love her mix of teen attitude and womanly desires. I love her vulnerability and the way she would sometimes use sexual attraction to achieve the love she needs. It feels real and speaks to the abuse she suffered at the hands of someone who would tell her it was all done because of love. I love the blend of knowing that the story takes place in modern time, yet still has a touch of historical themes due to the Immortal Realm. Just like Cass, I felt a fondness for Reysalor from the very beginning, and even though Lorcan means her no harm I found it a little harder to trust him. It wasn't until Alaric and Pyrder appear that I understood why Lorcan seemed so distant and made me wary. The romance in this story isn't instant love, although there is instant lust, and it moves at a natural pace. The men give Cass time to get to know them and develop that trust that she so desires. I'm anxious to find out more about why Cass was really locked away and who is to blame. I dying to watch the relationships between Cass and her men grow. The build up for the final battle to save the world has been growing for a while now and knowing that the end is getting closer fills me with both excitement and sorrow because I hate endings. For now, I'm going to sit back and enjoy this fantastical, action-packed, steamy read and I suggest you do the same.
