While I’m thoroughly enjoying this series, I’m disappointed the next book in the series isn’t available I thought it was a 2 book series. Looking forward to the new one.

From the first time I read these books I was hooked. Having them on audio makes my work day go by a lot quicker, and the narrators are amazing!

I can’t wait for book #3

Uhhh! I’m so mad I started this series without checking if it was complete first 😡. Now I’m anxiously awaiting book 3 whose release date is TBD, and an even longer wait for the audiobook version. Great series though!

Overall

The author seems to love to throw around sexual assault, the boys under the spell of MC's half sister are getting sexually assaulted by her (like chemical submission she uses her magic to take advantage of them). There have been so many attempted and insinuated harassment and sexual assaults at the mc. The characters are bad at communicating with each other and that is frustrating.The teacher met mc as a minor and to his knowledge she is still a minor because he doesn't know her birthday. To us she is 27 but he doesn't know, I am hoping the author isn't trying to ship them or have him looking at her with lust because grooming. The scene where they were so close they cloud make out was disturbing. I need the mc to realize the people to blame for her mother's death are the medical staff in charge of keeping her alive and the idiot who impregnated her not the innocent child. MC needs to start rumors and get revenge instead of making threats and retaliating when attacked. she knows the future so I wish we heard about her taking advantage, getting a job to buy stocks and etc. No plans of where she wants to go after school. etc Thanks to the author and the cast for sharing this story. To the author: Please be more considerate of your audience which I am guessing are mostly female and with statistics I assume a lot of us have trauma around Sexual assaults and don't want our escapes to include them. Thank you.

Excellent continuation

As with the first book there are parts of this one that are slow and repetitive but if you look past that the story is so good. I love that the FMC is a badass and continues to prove it over and over saving herself and others multiple times. I also love the slow burn and slow build of the story and figuring out secrets one at a time. The narration is once again excellent! I wish the author had sprung for duet narration but it’s excellent anyway. My only complaint is that the pov is not stated at the beginning of the chapter so it is a little confusing until you figure out whose mind you’re in. Can’t wait for the next one! Definitely recommend!!
