series that Im desperately trying to get through

I love a good murder mystery..This one kept me guessing, but the hardest part was listening to the reader.

Everyone should read like Jeremy Piven. He is fantastic!!! He had emotion, knew when to whisper and his phrasing had the perfect ebb and flow of reading. most excellent!!!!

I was sorely disappointed in Melissa Leo. She's a good actress, but shouldn't read. there was no emotion in her voice. her characters were dull, and lifeless and just inappropriate. I struggled to listen to her, and she unfortunately read most of the book. again, like the previous book, I kept going to make it through.

I also hated the music. it was awful!! I'm glad we are almost 20 years out and hopefully they don't do that anymore.

Aside from the female narrator, it’s great!

I loved the story and the background music. It was hard to get into the story because I didn’t enjoy the female narrator. Her reading style isn’t ideal and harsh to listen to at times. I only purchased it because I couldn’t find my hardcover copy of the book and want to re-read the series before reading the latest books. It’s worth it for the story overall. Jeremy Piven helped immensely to survive her voice.

a little predictable at times but good read. characters are well defined n very interesting.

Progression of facts

Nothing, I enjoyed the story and reading of actors. It was fun and captivating. These are just extra words for 15.

Jeremy Piven reading as the male lead made this book so much better... His suspenseful, powerful voice kept me hooked and wanting more, I legit would listen to any book he is the narrator for.
