A very cozy read

I loved The Sewing Machine so decided to try this book. It started a bit "off" to me, because so many names were thrown at me so quickly. But it didn't take long to catch on, and from there it was a delight. I really enjoyed the early years of 1911-1921 in the beginning of the book, but the current years were fine too. The story weaves together the lives of people from 1911 to 2021, all residents of a house where they either live or are tenants. There is nothing "edge of your seat" about this book, but it's written so well, the narrator was excellent and overall it was an interesting, cozy, enjoyable book. Give it a chance, especially if you liked The Sewing Machine.
