Clay:

My mind and body are full of chaos; the only time I can truly feel free is when my hands, arms, and legs are secured. This is a sweet story of finding love right where you are and not letting go of it.
Narrator Kenneth Obi does a fabulous job.

Kenneth Obi narrates this story and does a fantastic job. the personalities really come through. heightened my enjoyment of this book.

The story continues Heathen's Ink with their circle of lovers, friends, acquaintances.

The couple in this episode are as physically different as can be. Clay is a willowy man who owns a dance/yoga studio. Max is broad and beefy and works to restore vintage motorcycles. They have been roommates for 5 years. Until they weren't.

The story is a slow burn with the spice of added kink. Throw in a darling 7 year old and the relationship that should have been easy becomes filled with indecision and insecurity.

Narrator Kenneth Obi handles the all of the characters with skill, making it easy to follow the storyline.

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the 2 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.

Sweet GFY friends to lovers story. I liked the MC's very much. Narration is very good too.

Wow. This book. What can I say other than Wow that was HOT. I loved this story, but I also really like Shibari (Japanese Rope Bondage). And you can tell the Author did their research on this one. It wasn’t just written as the usual D/S Bondage between Max and Clay. It was sweet that Max took the time to really figure out what Clay needed from the Relationship and didn’t just jump right in once he figured out what he wanted as well. That for both of them it's not about pain, or humiliation, or really any dominance and submission. Its just all about the bondage. They both took their time thinking everything out, and went from being Roommates and Best Friends, to Lovers with some kink. I just wish it was a little longer with More Shibari scenes. But overall a really good book. This is a "Spin-off" to Heathens Ink and includes some of the characters from previous books as well. So I cant wait to see what the Author creates next in this series of books.
Audio - Kenneth did Great with this one, it was such a pleasure listening to this book, and it might actually be bumped up to my favorite audio in this series. I liked the difference he put into the voices for Clay and Max making them both unique, to stand out from each other but still the story flowed seamlessly. I'm sure I will be doing a re-listen to this one soon.

I love how Max and Clay's characters were written. In each one of the books in this series, Neuhold has shown us different situations that happen in everyday life. Although we get the romance we crave in each of these stories, it doesn't happen overnight.

The way Max's character took care of Clay's needs was so cute to read. We find that sometimes you don't realize what you have been looking for until it finds you. These stories show us this.

This is actually supposed to be book one of a spinoff of the Heathen's Ink series. They have the book order incorrect on here but it doesn't matter. I am so in love with this series. The continuity throughout all the books is awesome.

I loved every story.
