I read this short novella a while back so I bought the audio version so I could listen while doing housework. Loved the narration, very well done. Hot and steamy short listen!

In true Kitty Thomas fashion this was a dark book with a twist. I don't like giving things away so that is all I'll say about the twist, but it is a good one! I REALLY liked the narrator. She did an awesome job and hooked me from the beginning. As well as bringing the story to life, her voice was easy to listen to and helped me thoroughly enjoy the story!

I started this audiobook thinking I would just listen to a chapter to start but quickly got sucked in, not wanting to put it down! I loved Kitty Thomas’ novella in ebook form and Addison Barnes’ narration took the story to a new level! Her distinct voices for each character added dimension to every scene.

Barnes’ deep voice for Angel perfectly matched his patient, dominant, considerate, sexiness! Her conversational tone for sweet, brave, quirky Astrid made her that much more relatable. And those sexy scenes? They definitely brought the heat! A great performance for a great novella!

So good, I couldn’t put it down!

If you’ve never read/listened to any of Kitty Thomas’ other books, Trust Game is the perfect introduction. It’s a quick read but still has everything a full Kitty novel has. Dark themes, kinky sex, and major plot twists! Kitty is the queen of unforeseen plot twists.
As for the narrator, this is the first book of hers I’ve listened to so I’m not sure if she’s always so quiet or if it’s because Astrid, the main female character, is very timid and soft spoken. Otherwise she did a fantastic job as well. Highly recommend!

This was a fascinating story about what could happen to your life in an instant. I was completely absorbed in their story, in the struggle inside herself, Astrid, and the two sides that made up Angel. Addison Barnes did a great job of bringing both parts to life and made it quite enjoyable to listen to. Definitely an intriguing story you should most definitely read and listen to!!

Its twisted, tempting, and all kinds of delicious. It lights up all your senses and keeps you on your toes. I raced through this one, needy for more. I loved this narrators voice, she's just so perfect for the role. If you're a lover of wicked, arousing, and depraved things then this one is for you.

This book was just getting good. This author could have made this a 6 to 8 hour book. She really messed up with making this a 2 hour book.
I'm waiting to see if there's a book 2 and 3? if so she really needs to make her books longer. She's a great writer.
It felt like this book ended kn cliffhanger. Not Cool Kitty!

First of all I would love to say that reading and listening to this book was incredible. This story feels like a prelude to an even bigger story. It’s short, mesmerizing and keeps you guessing til the end. Angel is a mercenary turns savior. It was like as if Astrid missing her flight was set in motion for her to meet Angel. I have say that it’s amazing how Astrid has survived with her husband to now finally feel safe and loved.
