Will Touch Your Mind, Heart & Soul

Try to prepare yourself because the bombshell dropped in this book has atomic proportions! This series is a true treasure if you enjoy stories that are never simple and are about much more than steam and heat or even love and passion. However, that doesn't mean you don't get all of those things because you definitely do. You also get an emotional story of two very wounded people, that are each missing piece of their soul, and find it in the most unplanned for place. That being said, fate is a cruel mistress. So along with the good, she brings an abundance of pain, guilt, betrayal, hatred, anger, and jealousy. This book will send your emotions into a tailspin and make you to question your ideals and opinions. As in real life a situation is hardly ever simply black or white and is most likely just a mind-blowing palette of grays. None of these questions or their answers are easy, comfortable, or painless. Elle and Sin's story will touch your heart, mind and soul and it will make a mark that will remain. My heart melted for them, and it broke for them. I cried for them and with them. I wanted to celebrate their love and yet was often horrified by the situation it had caused. I loved them both, but at times I hated them. In the end, their story has ensnared me, and I can't wait to find out how it ends. You must start at book one, The Affair to start because these must be enjoyed in order to get the complete story. I thought the narrator's performance was well done, and I found their voice pleasing to listen to.

The Secret

Oh my gosh this trilogy is breaking me so good! Thank god book 3 is already out cuz this cliff is steeeeep. The narration once again was spectacular and I loved the characters and this story so much. I don’t want this trilogy to end!

Mind blowing

Well get ready to have your mind blown book #2 of The Evolution of Sin trilogy was absolutely fantastic. I love that this book right picks up were #1 left off. Angst, drama, captivating, sexy and so good.

Amazing!

Wow. On audio, this book is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE the job Charlotte Claremont did as Giselle. It was as heart pounding as it was reading it for the first time. I can't wait to listen to the final book!

This series is still one of my all time favorite's by this author.

My Original Review:

When I tell you I was on the literal edge of my seat and gasped at the end of this book I’m telling you the absolute truth. This book had me on my toes the entire time. I was so excited and scared to turn each page to see what might happen next. Somehow, I don’t know how, but somehow I was even more engaged in this book than I was with book one. I can’t get enough of this couple and story, GIVE ME MORE! Book three, here we come.

I am absolutely obsessed with this book and the series. Sinclair and Giselle’s love is like an inferno, blazing hot.
Finding out that Sinclair is dating, Giselle’s sister Elena kept me on edge. Am I rooting for Gisele in Sinclair Hell yes!
What is Cosima up to? And who is she with?
The spice in this book was super hot
The audio for this book was perfect and Narration amazing the accents were totally on point

Bold and brilliant forbidden romance!!

Once again G Darling has blown me away with pulling me into a story that pushes my boundaries, and makes me question what is right and wrong in loving someone forbidden.

This narrator is extraordinary in portraying Giselle, and telling her story with every emotion, and with an accent that only adds to the intensity of this book. I was addicted. I was enraptured. Sinclair & Giselle's forbidden affair continues and is both heartbreaking and eye-opening in this second book of the triology, and I hung on to every word, and let myself be immersed into the tumultuous life of Giselle and the life-changing decision she had to make.

As much as I tried to take the moral high-road with this book and story, I just couldn't help but fall for Sinclair & Giselle's love story and know in my heart that these two were meant to be. I am holding out hope that they will do the right thing with Elena and face the consequences that are sure to come. I'm ready for book 3! Giana Darling's writing is once again bold and brilliant! Well done!

“Before you I never knew how selfish a person could truly be."

I just spent the past 6 tantalizing hours listening to this book and OMG it was just a joy to experience Giselle and Sinclair's journey all over again.

Their relationship it's not one I'd particularly vouch for because well the situation it's pretty messy. But I do like the dichotomy of how far we are willing to go for what we consider our true happiness with what for all intents and purposes might be the love of our life. There is no easy way to answer a question like that.

So again, if you are somewhat okay with the TWs for sure give this book a chance, you won't regret it.

Worst, most selfish and remorseless MCs!

I made the mistake of starting Elena’s duet, and made it 25% in when I realized I had to read this trilogy first, so I paused that one and read this—which turned out to be a WAY BIGGER MISTAKE! I wish I’d skipped this and only read Cosima’s story before Elena’s! What a moral clusterf*ck this was! I HATED both MCs throughout the entire thing! Their selfish and remorseless actions—and thoughts—were abhorrent, and in my opinion, there is no redemption for these two. I will now read Cosima’s story, and then Elena’s, because I really am invested in those two—the ONLY WORTHY Lombardi sisters! Do yourselves a favor, and skip this abomination. *I must also note that I read along as I listened to the audiobook. The books are chock full of bad writing and grammatical errors, but the narration (especially of the third book, since it was a dual) was pretty good.
