Loved this 3rd prequel to the Brie's Submission series! Gives so much more insight to what makes Sir, Master Anderson and of course the amazing Rytsar the Doms that they are. Jason Clarke's sexy Russian accent is melting!!!!!!❤❤❤

Red's words and Jason's performance of the characters is fire in this telling of the Russian Reborn.

I love the way Red masterfully made you fall in love with her characters in the Brie's Submission series before allowing you to learn their back stories.

The way Jason does a sexy accent for each character is really a testament to his abilities as a performer -well done Jason!

I started the Brie's submission series in backwards order by listening to these Jason Clarke prequels first before even starting the others and I'm actually glad I did - because from here on out Jason's voice will always be Rystar's in my head. His Russian-English accent is so powerful and full of both pain and passion, you can't help but want that voice as the character's forever.

The story is the dark details of how the Russian friend of Sir's came to America after tragedy in his homeland, becomes friends with both Sir, Master Anderson, and Samantha. At this point you see his strength, but then you are pulled in further to his vulnerability when two more situations threaten to break him. Rytsar becomes a character that you ache with, feel pain with, and every time his passion is allowed to unleash - you feel his dominating love.

In all honesty, I had to stop and start this book twice because of the dark, triggering storyline - but it was totally worth every moment of listening to the pain & the overcoming life that both Red's text and Jason's voice give to this character. We can overcome so much as individuals when we have just one or two people we let inside our circle to help us through.

And I fell in absolute LOVE with this Russian's Rise.

I just loved this series on audible. Red has grown so much in her writing. She has always been wonderful but with every book she just gets better and better. I’m so thankful she has chosen to be a writer to bring all of us so much joy.

Overwhelming tale

I loved it! I did have a hard time with the beginning of this book due to some of the content and the feelings that it invoked in me. Otherwise it was awesome! I would highly recommend this book and any other books by this author... Red Phoenix!

Heart rending and steamy

Wow! I’ve been intrigued by Durov’s story since I listened to Sir’s Rise. The Sadist has always been a favorite when I read/listened to the Brie’s Submission series. But I am so in love with him now.

Rystar has such conflict in his life, and the BDSM dungeon is his place of solace, where he has full control. There were some shocking things about him, and at a couple of points in this story I was in tears. This beautifully broken man had me in the palm of his hand. His origin story had so many layers to it. Thane and Brad are in this one, as well. I love their friendship; it’s so strong and solid.

Jason Clarke does a wonderful narration of the Russian Sadist. He’s one of my favorite narrators because he has such a wide range.

Rystar just might be my favorite!

This book was a great read, but the audio...OUTSTANDING. Jason Clarke hit the voice and emotion of Rytsar brilliantly. This was the best of the 3 on audiobooks

Jason Clarke brings Anton Durov to life with such a rich delicious voice it'll melt your panties off! Red Phoenix brings the words and story but Jason Clarke brings the Master right off the page and has him growling into your ear.
