the book was ok. kinda hit in some parts. but if it wasn't for Alexander I probably would of never finished it. wow, that man has a sexy voice!

I liked that Maddix became the good guy and the real hero of the story, while the villain got what he deserved. Backstabbing and double crosses from loved ones. A good erotic story. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

I read this story when it was first released and liked it. Recently, I was given the opportunity to listen to the audiobook. What follows is my original review of the story with a new addition for my review of the narration.

As a high school teacher the thought of lusting after and having sex with a student is disgusting. Therefore, reading about teacher/student relationships feels creepy and is not something I typically go for. I have read a few books by Isabella Starling and liked them all. Because of this, honestly, when this came out I chose to read it without reading the blurb about it. I didn't know it was about a teacher/student relationship. Once I figured it out I decided to go ahead and keep reading just to see how it turned out. So, with all that being said, I did think it was a good book. There were two big twists in the story of Cora and Maddox. While I did figure out the first one fairly early on the second one was a complete surprise.

I really liked both narrators. The female had an innocence to her voice which I felt went along well with the character of Cora. I thought the male narrator did a great job with Maddox, but also when he was speaking as Cora. I would definitely listen to both these narrators again.

Wow, that was a close call. I love listening to this book. Maddox and Cora are amazing. He appealed to her on a level that no one has and he took her under his wing as a protector, adviser and instructor. Most of all he gained his trust easily and provided her with her lessons with ease. As for Cora Maddox was her protector, lover and teacher. Most of all her brought out her little side with grace and the minx in her just as much. But I must say I was curious to know who Maddox employer was and was elated if his untimely passing. Most of all I love this mystery of this taboo love story. Above all the narrators did an excellent job in telling this story.

I absolutely loved this story ! The chemistry between the characters was so hot and intense... the narrators are perfect too .. if your looking for a good story with raw scenes look no further :) I gave the overall a 4/5 because there’s one thing that bothers me in books this “type” and it seems like they all end up with this .. and I can’t stand it .., I won’t say so I don’t spoil it but really that’s the only thing .
