Love the voice actors for this, especially Hades. Had me curious as soon as I listened to the sample. Really good with headphones by the way. Smoking hot scenes too! I just don’t love that Persephone is a witch in this I know it’s a retelling but I feel like being a witch is kind of a step down from goddess. Also, the plot doesn’t really pick up until the last like 4 or 5 chapters of the book. I had moments where I was thinking where is this going? Not a bad one to tuck under your belt if you like the Hades and Persephone story though.

Story was very tropey but still fun and made me want to keep listening. Really enjoyed the spice level, and even though the main relationship was quick, they still worked for me. Really really showed the narrators, definitely added to the book.

These two narrators were fantastic! Their acting brought the story to life and the male narrator was incredible! Perfect blend of great plot with spice. A great listen for fans of Greek myth.

Love love LOVE me a good Hades and Persephone retelling! And this one did not disappoint! I’m a little peeved that we don’t have a more precise release date for “Summer Seduction” than just “coming soon” 😆

I didn’t love that Hades had horns and was more of an actual demon. If that doesn’t matter to you, it’s a cute Hades and Persephone retelling.

Excellent performances by Brandon Bonavir and R.L. Hemm. The story digs deep into emotions and scars that many will relate to. Spicy and well-written, the characters are three-dimensional with faults and flaws. Relationship dynamics abound and are incredibly relatable. The writing is beautiful and often poetic. Must listen.

Not a fan of the lady narrator, the way she pronounces some words are goofy (pretty sure she said ‘wilder’ wrong) and she came off whiny.. and that might have been intended for Persephone, which I also don’t like in the story. There wasn’t much character in the male’s voice either.. I know the intent was to make Hades sound more alluring, but I don’t seem him being as monotone in some instances like it was portrayed. Overall, the story was meh and I struggled getting through.. maybe it would have been better if I physically read the book. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The story felt like it was a cornhub version of Scarlett St. Clare’s Persephone x Hades series. Same exact premise but with less plot and more emphasis on sexual encounters between the two main characters. One chapter they absolutely cannot stand one another, then they bone and all of the sudden the fmc professes her love for the mmc. The mans 🍆 must be outstanding. There really wasn’t any plot. Persephones powers had been hidden from her and Hades is the only one who can help her access them, after they marry and” bind” (bump uglies). That’s it. That’s the entire story.
