It took a little while, but the main female character grew on me.
By the end I was in love with both of the main characters and wanted more of their story.
It was an adjustment from Therese Plummer to this female narrator, but I think it was ncessary for Maya's character and she did a good job.
As for the male narrator, I am use to hearing him on a whole different genre, so it was an adjustment, but not bad either. Glad it was dual narration.

This is not the typical genre that I enjoy most, BUT I looooooved this book!! 10/10!!

Every book she writes is f$&@ing incredible. I love how every character from every book is delicately intertwined together the more she writes. Now I want to go back and read all of them again!
