I love the way these two men have to accept what they are to each other no matter how hard it is. They are perfect for each other. I was glad to see them able to work through the issues.

I think i have to say this is my new favorite in the series. If I had to say anything I wished more for in this book was that I wish it was longer and went into more detail about some of the points that seemed glazed over in the book. Really that could just be my brain wanting more of these two guys.there was a great storyline, characters were wonderful and I felt like I connected with them which is always great. Greg did a great job on the voices on this one and made you feel like you were there in the story.

Loved it. The relationship was beautiful. The sex was really hot. Greg B is amazing as always. I may adopt his voice for my inner monologues.

The characters here draw you in immediately. Wren, who has wanted to explore pain play for years, Leo an experienced Dom who has had years of experience initiating subs into pain play and Wren's father's best friend. Leo helped Wren's father, Graham, explore his own needs when he and Wren's mother divorced. Wren tries a scene with someone he met online and it goes dangerously wrong so Graham's partner Avery asks Leo to come meet with Wren to help him recover. There is instant attraction. Leo has not seen Wren since he was a young child so Wren gives him a false name and pushes Leo into a Dom/sub relationship where he knows who Leo is and Leo does not know him. The expected blow ups happen as all these secrets are revealed, a quartet of relationships nearly founder on the deceptions but the writing makes it clear that what Wren and Leo have is 100% consensual, real and forever. People behave realistically in terms of the hurt and pain but they are all decent, loving and adult and the book ends on a happily ever after note. The description of the scenes is very explicit and includes pain play including clips, needles, piercings, etc. It is not gratuitous but deserves thought before you jump in. Greg Boudreaux is as always amazing in his performance. Each character is distinct, the parts where friends/lovers are separated will break your heart and you will totally believe the pain scenes' mix of pain and pleasure. His narration is so good you will see everything just like a movie.

When Wren wants to explore his inner desires, he doesn't have a successful go at it.
With a little help of a close one, Leo enters his life.
The spark and attraction between them is evident and this leads over to their eventual play as well.

What they get from each other is a fulfillment of their wants, desires and needs.
But, their relationship is not supposed to be and in order for them to claim their love, they will have to face the consequences.

This was a tale full of scorching kinky scenes, well added family drama and fantastic supporting characters from the previous books of the series.

The narration was done well. Each character was discernible and the narrator drew you in with his voice.
