My mind was blown after listening to this audiobook. Most people, including myself, would hear the phrase “Kama Sutra” and immediately imagine a bunch of wild and difficult sex positions. Not the case here, though. This book actually delves into the history of the Kama Sutra and how there is way more to it than just sex. It does not only discuss expert positions and “techniques”; instead, it stresses the importance of other things such as kissing and foreplay that lead to more satisfaction for both partners. The book also provides information for anyone on beginner, intermediate, and expert levels, so it is a good read for anyone regardless of experience. Overall, I started this book expecting to hear a lot of raunchy and “dirty” information; however, I was very, very wrong. This book is a great read/listen because it shares all kinds of information to help readers maximize their satisfaction and get the best experience possible. Highly recommended!

I have heard of the Kama Sutra books and studies, but like most sheltered teenage girls I thought it was only about funny and yoga incorporated positions. This book was an educational and insightful dive into the world of Kama Sutra, a world that is based on finding a deeper and more passionate level with your partner.

The writer goes into great detail about how foreplay and kissing are a much needed step in the process of being intimate and what it adds to the experience. I really enjoyed listening to this book and highly recommend it. This is a must have book for couples who want to deepen their relationships and take their passion to the next level.

An excellent introduction to the Kama Sutra! It has great information for couples working to maintain a loving relationship in and out of the bedroom. I was pleased to see that this book covers the history and philosophy of Kama Sutra. The Kama Sutra is most well known for its sexual positions, and this book explores those too, but many may not realize that there is so much more to the original text. This book acknowledges this misconception and includes sections on kissing, foreplay, as well as a chapter exploring tantric sex techniques which emphasized the spiritual connection couples can achieve together. I definitely recommend it if you've ever been curious about the Kama Sutra. It made me want to learn much more about its philosophies!

Okay I'm a prude. I just am. I actually enjoyed this though. Okay so I think it was the last five minutes or so of chapter 9 (It's hard to keep track on an audio book for me anyway) when I went "next chapter". This was a good listen though. It didn't make me super squirmy and the narrator had the right voice. Not too soothing not too academic if that makes sense. The best part for me was hearing her try to keep it together in a couple of spots. Though I could have been projecting because it was when she was going through intermediate sex positions and I was flashing back to the hilarious logistics of third trimester sex. I don't know if it was in the book (I really hope it wasn't and she put a little piece of her in that moment) but there was a point where she said "kidding". I like the simple approach that they took to the subject and I loved the narration. Totally listening to parts of this with my husband. Even if it is so we can laugh at how inflexible we are. OH so my only beef: There are a couple of positions that may require time at the gym and I got married so that I wouldn't have to go to the gym. :P
