This was a kinky little listen written by Kashel Char and narrated by Johnathan Waters.

I waited to listen to this short story after I finished listening to books 1, 2 & 3 of the New Beginnings series. I knew the story was about how my 2 favorite side characters met and felt I could put it off so I could devour the main 3 stories. I'm happy to say that yes, you can read this after the other 3 without any issues.

Juandre and Andrew are just the kinkiest, funnest, cutest couple I've ever had the pleasure to read/listen about. This was a fun look into how they initially met and how Juandre spread his wings. I wish I had a Juandre in my life how fun that would be.

Having already listened to the audiobook of Here's the Deal (mentioned in the blurb), I was excited to see how Kashel Char was going to put a New Beginnings spin on this story. They did not disappoint. For the most part the story is the same, still super hot and spicy. But I loved finding all the little nods to Juandre that I fell in love with in the first two books of the New Beginnings trilogy. His sassiness, his love of lingerie and drag, his dominance. And then all the little hints that Andrew is maybe more than human, which the added third chapter confirmed. Yay! Now I'm chomping at the bit to find out what happens with them in book three, Cian's Song, especially after what happened to them in The Brawl King. I love this series and need more Juan and Drew. Once again Johnathan Waters did an amazing job voicing these characters.
