Definitely worth listening to. Always loves the female performance. The male was not doing well with his accent. At the beginning came off strong but as the storyline went so did the male performance. I enjoy the characters

Wanted to give the story a higher rating but found some areas lacking. The lead male character was so interesting, could of used more of his backstory. The female lead was confusing at times. Her clothing choices, tattoos, mentioned briefly, and language especially in the beginning of the story didn’t match the savvy business woman she was.
At times it just didn’t seem as if they were two people who would have ever been attracted to each other because of her character’s inconsistencies at the start of the story.
In the end though I was happy they did. In spite of the rushed wrap up with Petal which included unnecessarily the humiliation of our heroine (any woman would have found being forgotten and ignored for 10 minutes right before her proposal hard to forgive), I still liked the characters and story. Should have been longer. Worth the credit.

After having listened to, and reading hundreds of books, I can sincerely ssy that Xavier Neal is one of the BEST at making me feel that I am peeking into the emotional ebbs and tides of a growing relationship. The dialog between the characters is A+. Witty, funny, emotional. SUCH an enjoyable experience to listen to Sutton's and Yazmin's story. I didnt want the story to end as soon as it did.❤

All the way down to the nick names was this book amazing! I loved the dynamic between the two and how they came together and embraced their differences. Seeing faces I have read in other books was also a nice treat!

This ended far too fast, and could easily have morphed into a series based on how cultured Fortune cookie is. I challenge the author to see the journey this couple could bring, and what dramas could unfold. This love story was very intentional and thought provoking. You have made a new fan of your work.

This story was so funny!! Once you get past the premise-a situationship turns into marriage??-it’s really fun. I love the MMC Sutton! He is so original! Do not love MFC Yasmine. Basic, typical, gets-in-her-own-way type. He spends half the book navigating her insecurities. Sutton carries the story. Good read with many mouth dropping quips.

Xavier Neal is suddenly my newest FAVORITE author! I've listened to the other title of his on Audible and it was even better than this, if thats even possible. both books took me by surprise with their fresh feel and sincerity...well worth your time and credit!
