I love this story, have read it countless times. The female narrator is amazing. I cannot get into the male narrator’s voice. It’s just not dark and gruff enough in my opinion. I really do love absolutely everything else about this audio book though.

I definitely prefer duet narrations over dual and solo. Not really steamy since the sex scenes barely involve emotions other than some mentions of hate and denial. Victor is instantly my favorite and while I know this is an RH, I don't see the point of hooking up with anyone else, I mean the other guys don't even measure up. 🤨 Also, LOVE Matt's voice! ❤🥵❤ Hope he does more in the romance genre.

This was a fun listen, never boring.

One of my favorites I read this book/series and then listened to the series! Absolutely amazing the book gave me my favorite characters but audible changed some of that for me! I would listen to it again!

I liked the plot and how busy the book was. I’m not a fan of the narrators. I felt the girl had no reactions in her voice she was very stoic. The guy narrators voice was a little too high pitched for me, but at least he had some passion. I think I would have liked this story better if I read it and not listened to it. This story had lots of things happening and kept you interested.

I've been unlucky in finding PG-13 RHs. The burn is so slow that there might be kissing and/or touches here and there but it seems to me that it's not until the last book where the "real" consummation happens - it's like they are trying to mimic a regular romance between 1 man and 1 woman which seems to me that formula should be thrown out the window when it's an RH. What I like about this first book in The Havock Boys series is that there was straight up sex with 2 of the boys but we know there was a past sexual history with a 3rd. There was violence - guns, bats, knives etc. and mentions of sexual abuse and teen pregnancy - yikes! And this was just the first book. I love that this was performed by 2 talented narrators in duet style and the longer the story went the more the character's were fleshed out. I hate when the descriptions are vague so you forget what they look like - not the problem here!! We live through Bernadette's POV so we get an idea of who she is...the more she gets to know the guys the more and more I like what I see. I am drawn to all of them: Hale, Aaron, Victor and Oscar in different ways but because it is rare that there is a straight male ballet dancer cast as a MMC, Callum really intrigues me. That fight scene in the old crumbling mansion during the halloween party was epic! Looking forward to book 2!
