Roderick Gideon Tremayne, the recently appointed Duke of Wentworth, never expected to find himself in New York City, tracking down a mysterious map important to his late mother. And he certainly never expected to be injured, only to wake up with no memory of who he is. But when he sees the fiery-haired beauty who's taken it upon herself to rescue him, suddenly his memory is the last thing on his mind.
Georgia Milton, the young head of New York's notorious Forty Thieves, feels responsible for the man who was trying to save her bag from a thief. But she's not prepared for the fierce passion he ignites within her. When his memory begins to return, her whole world is threatened, and Roderick must choose between the life he forgot and the life he never knew existed.;

Sweet, light, funny and easygoing romance story but a very very quick ending - it's almost as if the final few chapters were written on one sheet of paper. The ending seemed to be anti climactic, after investing hours in the story I would have like the ending to have been a bit longer.
This is the first book, followed by Forever and a Lady so, if you're tempted, then maybe listen to them in order however it's not essential.
Worth a credit? Yes, despite the quick ending, I thought it was entertaining but I preferred the second book.
Cinderella type story

There were a few steamy parts that more than made up for that however!
Overall, I certainly held on to the end! :)
Cute story!

It's because of the potential that this novel was such a let down. This book was very poorly executed and I felt as though I did not even understand the author's motivation or reason for writing the book. The book was divided into 3 parts. The 1st part was really good. The relationship, chemistry & banter between the hero and heroine was spectacular! I loved their backgrounds and their personalities. Both Roderick and Georgia were fit for each other.
The problem is that if Part 1 was really good, Part 2 seemed like a biography/background story solely for Roderick. So in Part 1 the reader gets a taste of the spicy personality of the heroine only for her to be ripped out of the book for the whole middle part---Tell me--Does that make any sense????? Part 3 was even more disjointed....there is very little interaction between the leads and one is left thinking, "OK, is this going to work? Did they even like each other enough to endure the long months they have absolutely no interaction with one another? Now, this is the bizarre part, after the long months they spend apart they reunite for a brief scene in which the reader is awarded with the knowledge that, yes, the leads are in fact crazy for one another and this is going to work out. Then, the story is over!!! Yes, that's right, it's over. The epilogue serves to inform the reader that the leads doe get their HEA. But, it fast forwarded to 7 years later. Talk about taking the wind out of the sails.....I really wish I would have listened to some of the critical reviews and saved a credit.
Seriously, this is like the weirdest novel ever and it's because the reader is left wondering how the author could have sabotaged her own leads because it could have been perfect....
A devastating let down because of the potential

What did you like best about Forever and a Day? What did you like least?
I liked the narration best of all. I think Chloe Campbell did a fantastic job with all of the various accents required. They may not have been perfect, but considering the various male and female voices and accents she was FANTASTIC! I'll definitely listen to more books narrated by her. What I liked least was the fact that the author spent a little more than half of the book on just a few days and then flew threw about 10 months in a matter of a few chapters. I was disappointed that she didn't detail how Georgia made Robinson work for her while in London. She completely skipped that after making such a fuss about it.
Would you recommend Forever and a Day to your friends? Why or why not?
I would only recommend the narrated version because Chloe Campbell does such a great job. She made the book enjoyable. I don't think I'd recommend the written version because I feel like half of Georgia's and Robinson's story was omitted.Do you think Forever and a Day needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
I'm not sure. I know there is a follow up book, but to be honest, there were no cliff hangers which would give me a clue as to what will be in the follow up book or next in the series.Good, but could have been better!

The narration sounded to juvenile for my taste.
Credit worthy? Not really. Sorry.
Not so good.
