Resumen del Editor

I told myself I'd never trust Miles Girard, no matter how brilliant or sexy he may be. His sister, Chloe - Ethan Frost's wife - is my best friend, but I know just how low Miles will stoop to get what he wants. Now he's the last thing I want: my boss.

Growing up, I had it all - except for the sense that I belonged. And when a mistake from my past surfaces in the press, my parents don't hesitate to cut me off. But surprisingly, Miles offers me a helping hand. Before I know it, our relationship turns unprofessional in the hottest ways. Of course, he still drives me crazy. But when I'm dealt the ultimate blow, Miles is there for me. And maybe he's the one I've been looking for all along.

Contains mature themes.

Over the top kissing scenes but overall Ok

This review is kinda for all of the books in this series, though I must note that the narrator for the first three books is a different person than the narrators for this one. All of the narrators were actually pretty good and would be fantastic if they had a little more training.
The narrator for the first 3 is Tess Chalmers and I thought she had a great range of voices. My main issue with her was that she would pause in weird places, especially in the middle of a sentence where a pause was unnatural.
The male narrator for this book, Iggy Toma, has a terrible female voice. It's lazy and just sounds like "Dude sounding like a Chick."

As for the book(s), I liked the storyline and the modern setting/issues/approach. But the whole "I'm so insecure and unworthy" trait that all of the characters have got old really fast. I would say that both male leads *should* have been more confident, especially Ethan, but I guess at least the insecurities are spread evenly for all of the main characters. I just wish any of them had become more self assured towards the end of the book.
I really liked Miles' character. His issues make sense and seem timely. I struggled with Tori and her automatic 'I'm not a weak child!' tantrums, but at least she takes the time to evaluate her situation and her reactions, which is something a lot of books/characters just skip right over.
Finally, the kissing scenes. Oh man, this author REALLY has a thing for kissing. These are the most detailed kisses ever. At first I thought, "Well, this is kind of nice. Kissing is often merely treated like something incidental in the sex scene" but then it kept happening! What's up with all that detail about licking gums, etc?? And the crazy love bites! I would be pretty damn annoyed if I had them ON MY FACE. All of this might make more sense if the actual sex scenes were as involved, but the author gives so little information, especially when they're going down on each other. Like, if you can tell me SO MUCH about where and how he kisses, why is the cunnilingus just a few words? I think it's just weird.

Like the story

I did like the story line and plot overall, I just didn't like some minor details. have read all of Ethan Frost books, so I knew the story of Brandon and the rape. I know that it would be a part of the story line but I didn't want it to keep coming up. I think the past should have been brought up just once. Also I didn't like that the whole book span over 3 days. I think the story could have been written without mentioning the time span and readers would not have noticed that it happened just over a weekend. I am happy they got together. I was a little shock that there was no mention of her brother at the wedding when he was there for her, and offered his help. I couldn't see her leaving him out.

Series was great! Narrator was not!

The narrator sounded monotone. The male and female sound short and clipped like it’s almost computerized
