This was a great book that was not only entertaining and steamy but also addressed some societal issues as well. I thought the characters were great, the plot intriguing and the narration delicious. I can't wait to read more on these characters.

This book contains M/M, BDSM and M/M/F themes and had me intrigued from the start.

Having listened and read several books by Jeanne St John I was interested in how Quinn Preston, Logan Reed and Tyson White would blend together, particular y since Logan and Tyson were already in a committed relationship when Quinn catches Logan’s eye.

When Logan takes a drunk Quinn home to sleep it off, she has no idea how her life is about to change.

There is certainly chemistry between all 3 main characters and relationship combinations. This was a story that was steamy and hot. There was also humour within and I felt that the narration by Ava Lucas, Teddy Hamilton and J F Harding really brought the story to life for me.

Double Dare is well written and although there were plenty of steamy scenes I wanted more of an insight into their relationship other than in the bedroom. Perhaps the author will re-visit these characters again and we will learn more.

Quinn has always had to conform to the wealthy, prestigious, and pretensions society she has grown up in.
Logan found his happiness when he realized the ideal relationship was not his norm.
For Tyson, appearances are everything. Being a former player for the NFL, he knows that for him to come out as being in a relationship with a man could be detrimental to his reputation.
When Quinn is dared to proposition Logan, she gathers her liquid courage and does just that. What happens next could only be described as out of this world pleasure.
But once the real world intrudes, will the heat, pleasure, love, and friendship go to the wayside?
Can I just say how much I love Jeanne St. James? Double Dare had so much heat that I had smoke coming out of my earbuds. The relationship that developed between the 3 main characters was a thing of beauty to see. Watching Quinn grow from a woman trying to sleep with one man on a dare, to sleeping with two men because she wanted to, and finally coming to terms with who she wants to be as a woman was a fantastic journey to see. The intricate dynamics between Logan's domineering personality, Tyson's ability to switch from dom to sub, and Quinn's complete submission to both men was so erotic and hedonistic I felt as if I should go to confession after.
I usually prefer to read books versus listen to them so I can have the control, but I will say that these 3 narrators were phenomenal. The emotional output, heated exchanges, and overall tone was quite superb and pulled me right into the story with them.

So right off the bat, it’s a ménage story. So there’s some pretty graphic (and a lot of them) scenes. MFM, MM, MF, MMF. So if you have issues with graphic sex in a book, this one is not for you.

At times it seemed like some of the graphic scenes could have been cut out (seriously how many times can someone screw before becoming too sore? I know it’s fiction but it got a little ridiculous sometimes)

That said, I really loved how there was a great plot line. It wasn’t just porn and raunch. The struggle the Female character has about coming to terms with not only having a “non heteronormative” relationship but how others will see it was VERY well portrayed. The portrayal of bigotries and stereotypes that are still seen today was on the money, and it was nice to see that the author didn’t just gloss over any of this.

There were a couple of plot gaps I’d have liked to see filled...Do her friends accept her? Why was her dad bidding? Why was Renny bidding? What happened to her dad?

On to the narrators. Ava, Teddy, and J.F. delivered 10/10 narrations yet again. These 3 are consistently top notch giving the characters life. I don’t have more to say because...well if you’ve ever heard them narrate you know-they’re basically perfect.

Overall 4/5 stars-A little too much sex (bordering on smut) but a great plot line

FYI this is a must read! It is a super sexy and I hope you have an air conditioner handy because you will definitely need one. I loved this book!!
The narrator doesn’t awesome job with the characters of this book. I can’t wait to hear more from this author. She has a wonderful imagination and makes you feel as you are part of the book.

If you're looking for OMG hot!! You found it!! This book heats up pretty quickly. The light humor is a good equalizer. While the narrator's take it to another level. I just found another author to put on my watch list. In the mood for something different? Spend the credit because it's worth it..

Loved this story and it was great to listen to. The taboo chemistry between, Ty, Logan and Quinn made the pages sizzle. Every woman should feel safe and cherished in the arms of their lover, but when you have two those feelings are amplified. Quinn risked it all to continue with her men but in the end she gained so much more. Great narrators. Job well done Jeanne St. James.

Scorching hot chemistry between these three characters. In case it's not clear, this is MMF romance, not MFM. Loved the narrators, I only wish the story has been written in first person. Anyhoo, I'm off to get the next volume. Enjoy!

Double Dare is hotter than hot but it is also more than that. It goes deeper than the sexual aspect of the relationship between these three. It also touches on the struggles they encounter by being in such an unconventional relationship. I hope to see another book following these characters!

The narration was great! These 3 narrators did a great job bringing the book to life!
