What was one of the most memorable moments of Dirty Ink?

When Brielle receives the photo album as a gift. My curiosity was stirred and I am waiting for it to be quenched.

Which character – as performed by Melissa Barr – was your favorite?

Brielle - I like that though she may be a bit insecure, she is still a strong female character.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

One thing that I did not like was the stopping point. I understand that this isn't a stand alone book, but there are so many other points that would have been better to end this installment of the series.

This isn't my normal genre of books but I gave it a try. Thought the dialogue was simple and too much explaining and re-explaining things. Some of the characters annoyed me and I didn't like them. Not my favorite

Would you listen to Dirty Ink again? Why?

I would listen to this book again and again. I liked the whole I am going to be me now vibe and of course the hot sex. I am also a fan of drama and this book has that as well. I received this book for free for my honest opinion and I would listen to this book over and over again but would rather listen to book 2. So send it to me PLEASE!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. I thought this was a pretty good book. It steamy, sweet, dirty and suspenseful. Four great combinations.The two main characters are likable and fun. I enjoyed when the secondary characters are involved. The ex girl friend is annoying and needs to get a clue...quick! I wish I would have known that was a cliffhanger. Probably my fault as I didn't research the book before asking for a review copy. Just thought the premise sounded good. Looking forward to listening to the second book! Forgot one thing, the narration worked for me!

Which scene was your favorite?

When Brielle was telling Hudson her fantasies. Oh boy did I love his reactions. Threesome? Yes! And they way she wanted it done. Can't wait! So hot! :-)

Pretty good so far, but cliffhanger!

The first couple of chapters were difficult to get through but I'm glad I hung in there as the ending or rather the cliffhanger was done well. The narrator was easy to listen to but there were a few characters that were difficult to listen to. I generally like listening to male voices so I might be biased. The storyline moved insanely fast at the beginning which is why I didn't want to continue listening at first but there was enough meat on the bones that kept me glued. I'll be interested in part 2.

I HATE leaving a 3 star review... Unfortunately, this book just didn't do it for me. It was not what I expected. The narrator was just ok. I was first thrown off by the fact that the tattoo artist doesn't hook up with his clients... Even in the fictional world, that sounds ridiculous. Not enough WOW to capture my attention.

The sensual needs a woman desires to fulfill her fantasies kept me interested..

The chemistry and the dynamic between the characters.

No particular favorite, but I did listen with an open mind.

A good look into a woman's desires....

Brielle is dumped by text by her very straight laced long term boyfriend. Right then and there she decides to do something out of character. She goes and gets a tattoo, this is where she meets Hudson, sexy bad boy tattoo artist (the complete opposite to the kind of guy that she usually goes for). Sadly, Hudson never dates his clients, it's his one rule! Fates steps in, in the guise of Brielle's best friend Ryley, who, as it happens knows Hudson. They meet up again a week or so later and 'bang' literally, herein starts a very explosive relationship. Hudson is definitely not boring and straight laced in the bedroom. I found Brielle's to be a bit annoying and whiney, Hudson however is super hot. Not a bad story, just a bit too predictable in places.

This was a very interesting book. It was really sweet how Hudson and Brielle interact, but I can't help but feel annoyed by Brielle at the same time. This book has BDSM elements in it, which was a big turn-on, and the added mystery was a plus. Not to mention the yummy steamy bits...

Overall, not a bad read. I'm hoping to listen to the next installment... if only to see if my hunch about the harasser is correct.
