Frequently asked questions

How do I sign in after merging my accounts?

Use your Amazon email address and password to sign in to Audible. You’ll no longer use
your Audible username.

Why is this update necessary?

Merging your accounts gives you the latest security and recovery protections, plus one login for Amazon and Audible.

Will I lose my Library?

Your purchased titles will come with you. Free or included titles will need to be added again, and downloaded titles may need to be downloaded again. Bookmarks, clips and annotations, listening position, stats and badges, and invoices will all transfer.

If you have active pre-orders, cancel them before merging your accounts and place them
again afterward.

Will this affect my membership or credits?

Your membership and credits will come with you. If you have more than one active Audible membership, you’ll need to cancel one before merging your accounts. Learn more about how to cancel here.

How do I create an Amazon account if I don't have one?

To create an Amazon account, go to Amazon or open the Amazon Shopping app. Enter your email address or mobile number, then click on "Proceed to create an account", and enter your mobile number and name, and verify your account with the one-time code sent to you, and create a password (at least 6 characters).
