Sweepstakes Rules

Please read these rules before entering Audible’s Wish List & Win Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). You agree that, by submitting an entry, you will be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Sweepstakes eligibility requirements.
ELIGIBILITY. If you are an individual legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and are 18 or older at the time of entry, you are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Audible, Inc. (“Audible” or “we” or “us” or “our”) employees and employees of our parent, subsidiaries, distributors and other prize suppliers, directors, officers, and each of their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors or advertising/promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
HOW TO ENTER. You may enter the Sweepstakes beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. (ET) on May 31, 2021 and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) on June 27, 2021 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). To enter, you must add any book to your Audible wish list during the Sweepstakes Period. This can be done either through the desktop Audible website, the mobile Audible website, or through the Audible app. Upon adding a book to your wish list for the first time during the Sweepstakes Period, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per person using only one (1) Audible account throughout the Sweepstakes Period. The book(s) you add to your wish list will not be judged and therefore will not increase or decrease your chances of winning a prize.
MAILING LIST. By entering the Sweepstakes, you consent to receiving promotional emails from Audible or its related companies. You may unsubscribe from receiving these emails by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any such emails.
PRIZES. We will award one hundred (100) prizes to one hundred (100) winners (one (1) prize per winner). Each prize consists of an Audible 12-month Promotional Gift Membership, which provides 12 credits for usage on any of our premium titles along with unlimited streaming of the Audible Plus Catalog. Non-members will receive 12 consecutive months of Premium Plus benefits for free (the “Prize”) while existing Audible members will receive 12 credits added to their account. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize package: $150. Promotional Gift Membership Terms and Conditions can be found at www.audible.com/gift-terms. Each winner must have or create an Amazon.com or Audible.com account (which requires acceptance of the Audible.com Conditions of Use available at https://www.audible.com/conditions-of-use) in order to add titles to his or her wish list and access and download the Audible audiobooks. Creating an Amazon.com or Audible.com account and adding titles to an Audible wish list is free. Total ARV of all Prizes awarded is $15,000.
SELECTION OF POTENTIAL WINNER. The potential winners will be selected at random on or about July 7, 2021. We must receive eligible entries during the Sweepstakes Period for entries to be eligible for selection. We will notify the potential winners by email within 5 business days following selection. Winners must contact/respond to Audible within seventy-two (72) hours of being notified as being a winner to collect their prize, or else Audible has the right to disqualify you and contact additional prize winners. The Prize and each component of the prize will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). In the event a potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, we will award the prize to a parent or legal guardian identified by the potential winner. The parent or legal guardian must sign and return all required documentation, including verification of identity and status as parent or legal guardian.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. The winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release as requested by Sponsor prior to receiving any portion of the prize. Failure to return any required document by the date requested by Sponsor will render the potential winner ineligible to receive the prize. If any documentation is not returned by the specified dates or if the potential winner is deemed ineligible prior to the prize being awarded, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the prize to the next alternative potential winner selected at random from all entries.
ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period.
RELEASE. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Audible, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies, advisors, advertising/promotion agencies, distributors, vendors, and prize suppliers, as well as their directors, officers, and employees (the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liability, costs, losses, damages or injuries of any kind arising out of or related to the entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or related to any prize or component of any prize.
ADDITIONAL TERMS. We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change these Official Rules or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, epidemic, pandemic, an Act of God or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes or submission of entries. We are not responsible for: (a) lost, misdirected, late, incomplete, or unintelligible entries or for inaccurate entry information, whether caused by you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in connection with the Sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries; (b) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes; (c) any error in the operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive any entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or (d) injury or damage to your or any other computer resulting from accessing or downloading any materials in connection with the Sweepstakes. We may, in our sole discretion, disqualify any individual found to be: (x) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website; (y) acting in violation of these Official Rules; or (z) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. If your entry is incomplete or if you use robotic, automatic, automated, programmed, or similar entry methods, your entry will be void. The authorized account holder of the email account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant, and must comply with these Official Rules in the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account. The authorized email account holder is the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning the email address for the domain associated with the email address submitted by the entrant. No greater than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules will be awarded. If any technical errors occur in the selection of potential prize winners or if more prizes are claimed than the number of prizes being awarded as provided in these Official Rules, we may award the applicable prizes by random selection from among all eligible, verifiable claimants.
MISCELLANEOUS. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All rights reserved. If you win a prize, you may not transfer, assign, or redeem the prize for cash. We may substitute a prize or any component of a prize with a prize or component of equal or greater value. Each winner agrees (for himself or herself and his or her heirs) that, by accepting a prize, the Released Parties will have no liability, and will be held harmless by the winner for any liability, loss, injury or damage to property or person, including death, and reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the Sweepstakes, even if caused or contributed to by the Released Parties’ negligence. You agree that our decisions related to the Sweepstakes and all drawings are final. The winner agrees that, by participating in the Sweepstakes, we may use the winner’s name, image or likeness in any manner and in any medium for our promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
WINNERS' LIST. After we confirm the winners, we will post the winners’ names at www.audible.com/Giveaway until December 1, 2021.
