We have all been going through so many adjustments over the last month—homebound for the most part, navigating new boundaries thanks to social distancing, and let's not forget the mountains of uncertainty about what's next. But we didn't want that physical isolation to keep us from sharing experiences. So, Audible is launching Hear For Each Other Listening Clubs, where we can come together to talk about the things we love, like storytelling and narrators and plotlines and characters—exactly the kinds of things that can help us manage this shared surreal moment we are in. In the coming weeks, there'll be a variety of clubs to suit your different listening moods. From sci-fi and fantasy to mysteries and thrillers, we'll have you covered. We’re kicking things off with our Feel-Good Fiction club, which will be listening to Graeme Simsion’s delightful The Rosie Project, narrated by Dan O’Grady.

Editor Tricia Ford will be guiding that conversation over on Facebook Monday through Friday of next week, diving into this tale of a socially inept professor’s journey to finding a love he never expected. She says it's perfect for a pick-me-up. "If you haven't yet listened, well, you’ve got something delightful to discover. There’s a very special 'at-ease' effect that The Rosie Project produces," says Tricia. "For anyone who has already read or listened, I encourage you to revisit the world of the endearing Professor Don Tillman—a man with a plan and a truly unique outlook on life. After all, what’s more comforting than returning to a story that reignites a feel-good sensation? (Not to mention narrator Dan O'Grady’s melodious Australian accent.)"

We hope you'll join us next week and in the coming ones—take part in the chats, and leave your comments about the wild, wonderful, resonant, or poignant things you got from the story. And let's have some fun together!
