T.C. McKnight is a science fiction author. He grew up in western Oregon and first fell in love with the genre when a school librarian recommended Robert Heinlein as an author to read. He started devouring anything he could find, discovering deeper motifs in the works of some of the old sci-fi masters. In his 20’s he turned to fantasy, finding new ideas and new worlds. Yet many of those became mundane and repetitive as they produced more and more of the same work. Now, as a father and grandfather, he has returned to his roots in more ways than one. He writes science fiction in the geeky world of the possible near future and wishes for a slightly less than utopian world where people unite to lift each other. T.C. (his pseudonym) lives in central Utah with his wife and two furry, four legged sons—miniature Australian shepherds. He works as a translator/interpreter and loves working with languages, but dreams of the day when he can retire and just write more, something that he never gets tired of.
