Richard Bellamy is a UK based writer, director, producer with a passion for history, technology, and mythology. He is currently writing TV dramas and films for MBC Studios (Middle Eastern Broadcasting Company), including an eight-part TV Drama "Rashash" to be aired in early 2021, the region’s first female superhero film, detective and historical dramas. He has also written a scifi screenplay commissioned by British independent guru Mick Southworth.
Richard graduated from Swansea University with an English degree, has a Law degree from College of Law, and a Film Diploma from The New York Film Academy.
His latest novel Heir of Darkness was released 16th July, 2020.
Richard is one half of a writing partnership, the other being his wife Suha AL Khalifa. They are both represented by Stephanie Hansen of Metamorphosis Literary Agency.
Richard is the father of three children, two of whom are autistic. He serves as both a carer and an autism advocate for them.
