Michael Phillip Roberts was born (1987- ) in Oxford, Ohio. His parents separated early in his life. He went to live with his mother in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He lived there for many years. Throughout High school he was driven and creative. He had a drive for video games, he later went to Ferris State University in 2006 for digital animation and game design. He developed a video game in school and even went as far as submitting it to a highly respected video game company.
After a terrible rejection he decided to go about it his own way. He scrapped the idea for a game and went to writing. He took his notes from the game and turned it into a book series. It has made 2 books thus far and he has plans on more than 15 total.
His first book "Fallen: Beginning" was a surprising success. Accelerating him from lower than the #500,000 seller on amazon to higher than #1,000 in the first weekend alone. Truly an inspiring story for a young man who was literally laughed at to becoming a high seller on the Amazon Kindle.
He now lives in Cleveland, OH with his wife Laura. She is the world to him. Not only does she read his books, giving constructive feedback, she is also the editor for most of the books.
