Melyssa Hoitink is a naturopathic doctor with a practice focused on treating fibromyalgia in Barrie, Ontario. Prior to becoming a naturopathic doctor, Melyssa completed a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Human Nutritional Sciences at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During her training, she completed a 12-month focused internship in caring for patients with fibromyalgia and myalgic encephalomyelitis (also known as chronic fatigue syndrome), which sparked her passion for working with this enthusiastic population. In her free time, Melyssa can be found outdoors on the water with a book in hand. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her partner, Daniel.
