Martin W. Ball, Ph.D. is a multi-talented artist, musician, and independent author based in Ashland, Oregon. He is an internationally-known expert on entheogens and nonduality, and is best known for his work with "The God Molecule" (a phrase that he coined in 2008 and is now in common parlance), 5-MeO-DMT, the world's most profound entheogen. Martin brings all of his talents to the fore with his books, ebooks, and audiobooks, which combine his writing, artistic, and musical skills to produce insightful, revolutionary, and deeply inspiring fiction and non-fiction. Martin's work has helped steer the conversation around psychedelics from fanciful notions of "machine elves" to unitary being, infinite consciousness, and liberated authenticity. He is the host of the long-running Enthoegenic Evolution Podcast, was the founder and organizer of the Exploring Psychedelics Conference at Southern Oregon University, is regularly featured as a guest on podcasts, radio, YouTube channels, conferences, and psychedelic education-related events, and also works as a nondual entheogenic integration coach. Much of his work has defined the conversation around 5-MeO-DMT and he is recognized as a pioneer in developing unique therapeutic methodologies for working with psychedelics for nondual realization and personal transformation. Martin earned his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara where he focused on Native American Religions, Buddhist Philosophy, Comparative Mysticism, and the Philosophy of Science and Religion. He has taught at UC Berkeley and at Southern Oregon University.
