Malachi was born and raised in San Diego, California. For 10 years, Malachi modeled and acted on several local theatrical shows as well as many movies and TV commercials. Malachi received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Christian Studies with an Emphasis on Leadership from Grand Canyon University, AZ. His ministry endeavors include becoming a licensed and ordained minister in 1984; Youth Leader from 1998 to 2008 then Youth Pastor from 2008 to 2014 and has been the Co-Pastor at Good Samaritan Church of San Diego alongside his brother, who is currently the Assistant Pastor to their father and mother, Senior Pastor Bishop Henry Mitchell, Jr. and Lady Lola Mitchell. In October of 2017, Malachi married the love of his life, Christine and they were united as husband and wife. Between the two of them, they have 7 children and 3 grandchildren. Together, their mission is to reach, teach, empower, encourage, uplift, and motivate people of all ages. They want to help in the healing process of battered mothers and children and reconnect children with their absentee fathers. It is their endeavor to correct many of the societal mistakes that have caused an increase in homeless men, women, and children and to help rebuild the family structure. Writing has always been a passion of Malachi’s but he never really pursued it seriously until now. Training and teaching are a true calling in his life and one that he loves to do, so writing a Christian workbook is a dream come true.
