Dr. Agree spent over a decade practicing business law before pursuing a career as a psychologist. As a result of her own frustrating experiences with live-in child care, she developed an interest in helping parents bridge the information gap in childcare selection. In 2023, she founded the Center for Nanny Assessment through which she assesses nanny candidates for personality features and caregiving abilities necessary for high-quality child-care, as well as compatibility with their potential parent-employers. In addition, Dr. Agree maintains a private therapy practice in Birmingham, Michigan, where she treats adults, adolescents, couples and families, with a focus on personality, attachment and mentalization. She is the author of the book, Choose the Perfect Nanny and Keep Her! A manual for busy parents who want the best childcare.
