Air Force veteran Kathy Maresca served at the USAF Academy and then in special operations at Hurlburt Field. She edited for the University of Florida and taught English, journalism, and drama. A trigeminal neuralgia overcomer, Kathy is a retired credentialed rehabilitation counselor who has helped others experiencing facial pain. Her debut novel, Porch Music, was a Christy finalist and won several other awards. Kathy loves a great book, a rom com, and her home gym. A native Floridian, she lives with her husband Keith in the Sandhills of North Carolina. They enjoy traveling, gardening, and spending time with their dogs.
