Born in Fort Benning, Georgia, Kathy grew up on Army bases all over the United States among various cultures. It is because of this diversity, that Kathy has learned how to embrace all of God’s people from every race, creed, and walk of life. “We didn’t see color as kids----just people” she admits. Her acceptance towards others, combined with her academic achievements as she excelled in her studies, qualified her at an early age as a leader. In 1994, Kathy received her calling as a missionary, and she has been an ambassador for the Lord ever since. While serving as an iterant missionary to France in 1995 Kathy did prayer walks throughout Paris and Lyon. She also preached the gospel, prayed for the sick, met with church leaders, conducted children’s ministries, and street evangelism. Kathy has served as an assistant church director in several plays and concerts. With her newly released book “Be Made Whole” she is now expanding her territory and talents as a “literary missionary.” In her book, Kathy describes many of her real life experiences where God has intervened and moved on her behalf. Kathy has recently been awarded the gold seal of approval for an “Outstanding Read” by Faithwriters for her book “Be Made Whole.” Linda Germain of Faithwriters.com says: “This true story of one woman’s struggles and lessons in trusting the Lord is amazing in its honesty and depth. Her willingness to be vulnerable in sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of her life makes the book’s message so much more understandable. The most edifying part is how many times she stood on God’s Word when she had nothing else and no glimmer of hope in the natural, and how He walked right beside her to take her to new places in His will she had never even considered.”
