Johanna M. Rieke, born in Germany, is a mathematician and author, whose authentically crafted, historic Sherlock Holmes stories, six up to 2020, are well known in Germany and Switzerland. They have been published in book form and as audio versions, and presented at the annual Frankfurt Book Fair. She is a member of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London and of the Reichenbach Irregulars in Switzerland. Sherlock Holmes and the Thames Murders was first published in Frankfurt in 2012. It is the second of her works to be published in English. Johanna M. Rieke lives since marriage near Basel, in Switzerland.
