Harry Musselwhite’s new books include "A Month of Sundays - the New Mexico columns" and "Roshi and the Coyote Choir' children’s book following the highly successful “Martin the Guitar” "Martin the Guitar on the Road" and "Martin the Guitar in the Big City." The latter three are published by CenterStream Publishing and are distributed nationally and internationally by Hal Leonard. Harry Musselwhite’s screenplay "Incomer" is a finalist for best screenplay at the 2017 Oaxaca (Mexico) Film Festival. His “Martha Berry” was a finalist for best feature screenplay in the 2012 Charleston International Film Festival. The screenplay was also a finalist for best Georgia screenplay at the 2011 Dixie Film Festival, and was a semi-finalist for Hollywood’s Kairos Prize for most spiritually uplifting screenplay. His “Heavenly” was a finalist for best feature screenplay at the 2012 Spirit Quest Film Festival. Harry Musselwhite’s short film, “Der Greis” (the old man) was awarded a special jury award for outstanding musical scoring in the 2012 Winter Shorts Film Festival. “Der Greis” been an official selection in the Albuquerque Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival, Prescott Film Festival, Macon Film Festival, Southern Appalachian International Film Festival, and the Mountain Madness Film Festival. Musselwhite’s second short film, “Next of Kin” has been screened at The Macon Film Festival and Atlanta’s “Get Connected” Film Event. It is an official selection for the 2012 ChattaMovie Film Event in Chattanooga, TN. “Next of Kin” will be a featured selection in a June 2012 screening at Atlanta’s Blank Stage Productions. Harry Musselwhite in the Spring of 2017 performed as a guitarist at Carnegie Hall and has performed as a vocal soloist throughout the United States and Europe in opera, oratorio, concert, and recital. He has conducted choral ensembles at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, The Sacre Coeur in Paris, The Kulturzentrum in Salzburg, and at Regent’s Hall in London. His writing has appeared in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Rome News Tribune, The Thomson Times, Georgia Music Magazine, and Georgia Music News.
