Deborah Lynne was born in New Orleans and spent most of her life in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was married for 42 years to the love of her life, who passed away in 2014. Together they raised three children—one son and two daughters. Today, she is a proud Granny of five and Great Granny to one precious great-grandson, with another little blessing on the way. As a young girl, Deborah dreamed of becoming an actress. Years later, she discovered that the stories God placed in her heart weren't meant for the stage, but for the pages of a book. "God gives me the idea for the story, then helps me write the book," she says. "I never know how a story will end until I write the ending." Her writing journey began after a car accident left her homebound for several months. During that season, she read novel after novel before finally thinking, *I could write one of these.* She did just that, publishing her first novel in 2007, followed by several more in the years that followed. Deborah writes inspirational fiction filled with romance, mystery, and suspense. She has also written Christian devotionals designed to encourage readers in their daily walk with the Lord. In addition to writing, she has contributed articles to Christian magazines and has served as a keynote and guest speaker at writers' conferences, teaching on romance writing, publishing, and the craft of storytelling. Whether writing fiction or devotionals, Deborah's desire is the same—to encourage readers, strengthen their faith, and point them to the hope found in Jesus Christ. She gives God all the glory for every story He places on her heart to write.
