Brad Judy Education: Lewis Clark State College-B.S. Business Admin, Eastern Washington University- B.A. Secondary Education, Washington State University-Masters Ed. Admin. I have always had a talent that I never really worked on and that is writing. My high school A.P. English teacher saw something in me. I wrote a report on the effects of agent orange on the fighting soldier in Vietnam. He was so impressed with it that he wanted me to pursue a degree from Stanford University's School of Journalism. He had some contacts there and was willing to pull some strings to get me in. I declined his offer as my father would never have helped finance a degree in journalism from any school. He was a gifted and world class cardio-vascular surgeon and thought I needed to do something similar. I wasn't close to as driven as he was and my strengths were not in science. They were in the arts. I wanted to make my father proud, and I tried. Unfortunately, he died when I was twenty-one. Actually, I believe he was murdered. Little did I know that this would one day inspire me to pursue my hidden talent. Long story short, a woman who once loved my dad got a hold of me and told me about my father's gold cache. I knew about it but thought that it was gone. She assured me that there was a good chance that it wasn't and that I needed to talk with my godfather, a monsignor in the Catholic Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. I reached out to him and he was fairly certain that there was over two million dollars worth of gold Krugerrands in my old home in Lewiston, Idaho. I went looking to find it. It didn't happen, but it made me very angry. I had always harbored suspicions about my step-mother and my father's death. So, I started digging up details. What I found didn't shock me, but it has shocked the roughly 2200 people that have read my first book, DECEPTION. I believe she may have killed my father for the life insurance and his gold. The book has done remarkably well considering that there has been NO marketing other than what I have been able to muster through my personal and business Facebook pages. DECEPTION-The Rise and Final Fall has been nominated for Great Books of the Northwest 2019 and it was read by a New York Times Best Selling Author who writes murder mysteries named J.A. Jance. She liked the book and I am confident that YOU will too.
