I don’t really know what I expected going into this, but I can tell you I don’t expect that! And in a good way. I was so drawn to Theo and the way his personality shifted. The dr really made me mad of course and I did not like him at all. He was a vile man who did vile things. Her dependence on Theo was what saved her. She needed him, even though he wasn’t perfect. He also did horrible things, but to her it felt safe. I loved the writing style, this is my first K.T. Maddan book and I will listen to more. The twist at the end had me second guessing my own sanity. I listened to the audiobook which really elevated this. I felt that Autumn Ivy really captured the sound of truly being unhinged and delusional. And Troy Duran embodied Theo. He even brought a real kind of gross feeling to the dr. Such a good job and I highly recommend.

This one was absolutely a roller coaster of an experience. It had been so long since I have listened to a pitch black erotica horror book that I had to stop at the first couple chapters and get in that mind space of listening to pitch black again and remember that it’s much more dark darker than dark Romance and then once I got in that mindset, I was ready to go straight into it!

I received this ALC from Blue Nose Audio.

Troy Duran delivered a great performance, like always. This was my first time listening to Autumn Ivy, and she completely sold her character. Both of them were phenomenal and made story even better.

Writhe wasted absolutely no time. It opened on a dark note and immediately had my attention. It was dark, twisty, and exactly the kind of audiobook you can easily finish in one sitting because you just want to see where it’s going.

This was not a romance it leaned much more into psychological horror with dark themes, and I think that’s what made it work.

I’d recommend it to listeners who enjoy darker themes, psychological horror, twisty stories, and fast-paced audiobooks that don’t waste time.

Ok ok ok Soo... this was a great freaking book but oh was it so crazy!!!!!!!

This whole series really is just a great read but do you think any of them are going to be lovey dovey in any sort of way.
