Publisher's summary

I was a college history major just trying to graduate and live my life, but then I was kidnapped by a bunch of freaky cultists who tried to sacrifice me to their crazy moon god.

Except they were the ones who ended up dying when I shifted into a killer werepanther.

Now, I’ve been thrown into a secret paranormal world where my kind is the apex predator. Werepanthers can kill any other paranormal, but they also have other abilities, including the power to make babies with women fae, shifters, vampires, and demonesses….

I’m the most-wanted shifter in the entire world, and I’m going to have to fight tooth and claw to survive and mate.

Mostly meh

Not horrible but nothing real good either. The male voice actor was maybe not the best choice.

Cheap and Trashy

Starts off with the transformation right out the gate so no real build up there. Also MC hooks up with Female lead almost immediately. The smut scenes are well detailed but reflects poorly on the rest of the novel that lacks this imagination.

It's a mediocre knock off of the Valen's Legacy.

It's a mediocre knock off of the Valen's Legacy. Maybe if I hadn't been Stryvant fan before I might have rated this higher, but... eh, like I said the plot is a knock off of some else's better work.

Good, but not great

So, after finishing the book and reflecting on it, I have a few thoughts. The story is enjoyable, but nothing special. It’s very much an instant-gratification type of story, where a lot of things come a little easy and you’re left unfulfilled at times. On top of that, it’s pretty easy to see how the more lewd scenes were written by a man, with how the main character’s cock hits the female characters’ cervixes and how their bodies are described.

Aside from that, while the female actress is fantastic, the male can get annoying at times. I don’t want to be harsh, but he sounds a bit nasally, almost as if his sinuses were completely clogged. On top of that, his inflection and choice in emphasis is weird in some of the risqué scenes. The worst is probably his choice in character voices, though. All of them are some combination of normal voice, gravelly voice, nerdy voice, Bostonian/New York accent, and vaguely European accent.

All in all, though, if you have a spare credit and just want something that’ll last a few hours, has decent action and decent sex scenes, it’s not a bad one. It’s definitely a male fantasy thing and not for people who aren’t into impregnation, but it’s that kind of sleazy fun you get from a parking lot fairground that was put up in a day. Sure it violates plenty of health codes and definitely isn’t the safest place to spend a Sunday, but you can have a bit of fun and you could definitely do worse things with your time.

It was ok

Story had great potential, but it was written in a mediocre way. It had really good portions, but overall felt like it was written by a highschooler, or maybe it was just the way it was read. Male voice-actor was not good at all, his voice did not represent the characters he was portraying at all, and had a serious lack of emotions. The female voice-actress was good. I feel like I would rate it 4 stars if I had read the physical copy of the book instead, but the the voice-actor really ruined it. Don't think I'll be continuing the series if read by the same guy. Will like to try other books from the same author, despite the negative vibes from this review, I'm not hating on him, I truly believe his story had great potential, just not executed to it's fullest. 3 out of 5 from me.
