Publisher's summary

Wyric, Zaxon, and Bex.

Trish can’t stop staring at the three Xylan warriors who’ve recently moved in next door. She’s supposed to be helping them upgrade their facility, but she can’t keep her eyes off their sharp fangs and fierce claws.

Wanting them. All three of them.

But these males are Xylan Triumvirates, non-identical brothers who share a special bond. And they’ve been deemed dangerous and removed from the Xylan mating database for a valid reason: No female can withstand a claiming by three Xylan warriors at once and come out alive. But Trish isn’t just any female. She’s a Cyborg, and therefore her response is:

Bring. It. On.

Trish might be the only female in the four sectors willing to take on all three of these ferocious warriors, and their shared enemy. But can an emotionally stunted female truly claim their hearts...and their love?

Author’s note: This book was originally released as a two-book serial, Warriors’ Claim and Warriors’ Embrace. This is a rerelease of those two books, now merged into one longer book with the same content.

A strong heroine and her three heros

If you know Michele Mills, then you know her books are can be kind of over the top, instant lust/love with hunky aliens. But that's what I love about her books and this one is no exception. I've read the book so was excited to see that Adam Gold will be narrating this book. I didn't mind there was no woman narrator as Adam does a good job in keeping the flow moving smoothly. If you've followed this series, this book original was two books in a three book series. She has since combined the two books so if this seems a little familiar, that's the reason. I am glad she did cause original, I read the second book but got side tracked and never read the third book to find out what happened. This also gives us a chance to get another full book in the series so fingers really crossed for that next book, LOL.

Cyborg in love?

Trigger warnings: not sure if this is a spoiler but this book has triggers for sexual assault and abuse.

Trish is trying to move on from what was done to her by her Hurlian programmers but due to her newly installed emotion chip, she's dealing with unknown emotion. Those emotions have her looking at her 3 Xylan neighbors with different eyes. I so love how she took her time learning what her new found feelings are telling her while at the same time exploring a potential new relationship. Bring on the next book.

So good

If you listened to this book before I recommend trying it again. This is a longer version. I liked this book before but it hadn't felt complete. Now it's complete and very good.

Cyborg and the alien warriors!

so good! twists and turns galore, not to mention suspense and mystery. and of course romance! This heroine is probably my favorite out of all in this series! she's bada$$ and refuses to be a wilting flower, even when men think they know better! watching her learn emotions is so sweet and touching!

Another good one

Book 2 was as good as book 1. Always like it when a book is dedicated to a sister as well as brothers. Narrator did a great job with characters. Will have to add him to my favorites narrators list. On to the next book!

Meh... At Best

Let me first say Adam Gold did a wonderful job with his narration! He made an otherwise eye-clawingly drab story only passably... eye-rolling. At best.

I have a stubborn streak that wont let me leave a book I start, unfinished. But this one tested my resolve over and over again. Adam did an admirable job attempting to breathe life into these characters, but unfortunately he's not a god and ressurecting this flatlining storyline.... It was not happening. Despite his exemplary efforts, I found myself gritting my teeth in frustration the entire time.

It was tediously redundant and riddled with repetitive dialouge, flat emotionless chacterization and useless filler scenes that had me crossing my eyes, shaking my head, and scowling into middle space in frustration, so much so that even my husband asked if everything was okay. Nope. Not okay, seeing as I was drowning in deep seated reget over my own willfullness. I wont bash the author, as this is the only book I've consumed by her, but I do hope this was not representative of her usual work. Still... it makes me leery to indulge in any others.

blahhhhhh

the first book was amazing and fun.
this was not. I skipped whole chapters, blah.
the only redeeming was the narrator. I will say, this is the first book from the author that I have not enjoyed. her other works are fun!
