good but disappointing

how can you enjoy someone suppose to be adult act more like a spoiled child

Cute Story

I enjoyed this Audible book immensely. The two main characters were lovable and, at times, humorous . The narration was perfection. I will be sure to look fore more books by this author and narrator.

Good story

I forgot how much I enjoyed this story. I love the characters. And even though it’s shorter there’s a feel to it of being a full length novel. I enjoyed the narration. I hope this series continues to be released in audio format.

I love this world

I love that this is the first book throwback so it’s the first mating technically not the first book and you’ve actually already met this character in previous books so I hope you enjoy. I know I did. This was not my first listen.

Enjoyable

I liked this book, it was hilarious and a bit different than others. Cole wasn’t described by Penny as other paranormal romance books. It was actually refreshing. Will add to my favorites. Narrator did a great job.

This story was so much fun, I couldn’t stop smiling. I really enjoyed the differences between Kol & Penny and how they learned about each other not just sexually but also their dialogues. I especially enjoyed learning about the Alien male anatomy.
The narration was absolutely perfect. Logan McAllister really knows how to capture the characters and he’s especially good at feisty females. Well done.
I highly recommend this book.

Penny and Kol💞😍💕

I really enjoyed this book. First let me say I loved that Penny was African American. I really enjoy Science books. It was a treat t o find this book. I have over 1200 books. Out of my science books. Only 5 have African American women as leading ladies. Kudos to the author, I hope you put more African women in your books. I recommend this book. Kol was determined to protect his mate. Very good book. Please keep them coming.💕😍💞🍷

Narration Ruined it all not worth it

Narrator ruined the entire book/story or whatever. I sat through it for the story working through such a horrid grating monotonous voice.

The story might have been better

The story might’ve been better. I just couldn’t get past the narration. The narrator has a great male voice obviously. I couldn’t get past the terrible female voice though. His voice is way too deep for a girl.

Ok but clunky

I agree with other reviewers that the narration is uninspired. It isn't bad (there is way worse out there), but most of the time it's almost droning so it becomes hard to care or keep paying attention.

The story itself is ok, nothing ground breaking in the alien invasion with alien heroes/mates. Nothing spicy or dramatic either so paired with the boring narration, it is just meh. This was an "ok why not" buy from a named trusted author (Nancy) and a newish author to me (Starr). I picked this up when it was part of a huge discount sale on Audible otherwise I likely would've skipped it.

As for the authors, I'm confused because I think this was all Starr and maybe some Nancy edits here and there or this was a pick up draft that they got from the publisher and asked to finish. It's just odd writing at times and I think they promoted this under Nancy Cummings when really it isn't her work at all. At the end the work is credited to an entirely different person so either that was a mistake with the recording or that person mentioned is the true original author.
