Publisher's summary

A week away together turns three friends into something so much more...

After Chris' breakup with Jill, Tom and Nicole invite their best friend to join them on their break. Chris is their best friend and roommate, and the last thing they want is for him to be left behind while they disappear and relax.

Tom and Nicole have been together for years, never needing anything more than each other, but after Nicole confesses one of her fantasies, things become blurred. She's always wanted to see Tom with another man and to share that experience and enjoy both men at the same time.

Away in their cabin, Tom is left to face urges he never knew he had. After hearing Nicole's desire, he can't help but look at his best friend in a completely different light. Now seems like the perfect time to act - to invite Chris to join them. But they both know the damage it could do to their friendship and relationship.

Please note: Two Become Three is a hot and steamy MMF romance intended for mature audiences 18 and over. This story contains male on male sex and explores the evolving relationship between all three characters and their changing sexuality with a HEA ending.

Sexy MMF- Friends to Lovers romance

This was a really good story and I was a bit sad to have it end.
The thing that I didn’t like was that the story jumped over some important convos. And I didn’t like that it wasn’t always obvious who’s POV was being read. You would be able to figure it out fairly quickly but still a bit annoying.
Narrative was pretty good, except the times the voices weren’t distinctive enough to know the character speaking.

Two Become Three

It was a good story, good characters, with the focus on their relationship, not how wild they can get with sex (like so many others.) Typical PNP with no significant development, just a friends to lovers thruple that ends with an HEA. Good for a quick erotica read. Narrator Barry Lemon did a good job. Definitely could become popular with more experience!

I requested and received an audio version of this book for free. I was not asked to submit a review, but I review every book I read anyway.

Enjoyable

Barry did a nice narration. The story was light and fun, J. Cartwright was a new author to me and has a likable style.

Hot Story

I liked so much about this story. I loved how the guys accepted their feelings for each other without any fear or gay panic. The author did a good job of showing the bonds between the threesome as a whole as well in separate pairs. The narrator was good but The story was in rotating first person POV it was sometimes hard to know who’s head we were in,

Something is missing

I’ve noticed a pattern in JC’s writing: a lack of lead up to the sex scenes. Here there is a MF couple inviting another male into the fun - which I love, but there is a huge disconnect in the lead up. For instance, it goes from three friends in different parts of the room beginning a conversation, to the hetero men making out on the couch. What happened? Did they walk over? Teleport? How did the conversation end? Any sexy talk? Did they get consent from the friend before sandwiching him on the couch? So it feels like we lost a scene or two before the make out. I’m not into prolonged angst but there has to be some anticipation preceding the sexy time.
