Teddy was amazing as usual, Ava was very whiny ... I have always loved M. Nevers books but this one did not hit the mark for me at all. The first part of the book was good, second was just ok and the third was so pointless, and predictable ... it should have just ended at the second one lol

It's still early in the new year but M. Never does it again. She is an awesome writer and I love her books. This is a really great story.
It starts with Kamdyn the High school star quarterback with lots of ego and young women fawning all over him. Teddy does ego and cockiness really well!!
He narrates his POV as a senior in HS and how he meets Laney. (I just love Teddy...swoon...lol)
The story takes us on their journey from High School, thru college and after their college graduation. And I really liked that about this story.
Then there's Laney arriving in the south from NY all sweet, sassy and confident who ends up tutoring Kam after he suffers a very serious injury impacting his football career.
Fast forward they're in college now. Kam is once again a super star but Laney breaks up with him due to some of her own insecurities and him constantly letting her down but she has some regrets. We also get Laney's POV during some of the college years.
Then there's after college where both narrate their POV, including Kam making it to the NFL and their love story continues.
I could go on but you really should listen to this story and how its characters were allowed to grow, love and find that trust and HEA.
And yes, there's mature sexual scenarios that make this story equally engaging, especially with Teddy narrating..wink..wink
Loved it. There's other obstacles and challenges Kam and Laney have to deal with and the supporting characters. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series; this one was very well narrated.

This one is a little different but still good! It is three short novella's, the same characters and story line but span years apart We get them from high school to college and then after so that was cool. Great narration!

I love her books and this one is no exception! Central character is a football star that plays for the Alabama Crimson Tide (Roll Tide Roll)- and his girl from HS- this is such a sweet uplifting love story with heat and all the feels! Don’t miss it.
The narration is excellent with Teddy and Ava! ♥️🎧♥️

I adored this story! Very amazing and great ending to tie the story together. LOVED THE NARRATORS TOO! 5 stars from me, all around!
